Ah, Terry Brooks. If you've ever read the Shannara series, you know how wonderful Terry Brooks is. And now for some background info, just in case you didn't care or were too lazy to flip to the back inside cover.

His first novel, The Sword of Shannara was published in 1977 and became the first fiction novel to hit the New York Times Trade Paperback Bestseller List. Brooks was a practicing attorney for many years, but has since gone to writing full-time.
