Kimberley is extremely well educated, having been through private school and a top university, with no expense spared on her education. She is qualified in Electronics and CyberTech, though has minimal real world experience in either. She has an unnaturally uncanny ability to adapt things to other uses, or extend the life of things that have ceased to function. This has grown into an interest in re-use and recycling. She has licences for motorcycle, car and handgun and has had self defence training with the gun also, though it is unlikely she has ever shot anyone in her life. Her hobbies are sewing and drawing. Born 1/1/2000, at 12:00:01 and named "Louise Jenner", she is Australian, of primarily Irish/English decent. Her father, chairman on the board of directors of the Australian division of Biotechnica, had been so keen on having his daugher the first person born in Corporate Australia in the century and had her birth induced early. This resulted in his wife dying shortly after due to complications, and Louise ending up rather stunted. After an early graduation, post-grad studies &the like, Louise's father placed her on the board of directors of Biotechnica as a junior member, but she rapidly found that what she was expected to do in the company went against everything she believed to be right, so she packed up some of her stuff, and left home, abandoning her Porsche in the corporate center making it look like she had been grabbed under suspicious circumstances. She then looked up an old friend involved in the green movement. Disguising herself as a child and calling herself "Kimberley May", she settled into her new life with a splinter group of eco-techs living up in the hills. Her claim to fame with the greens and resultant "mascot" status came about when a bloody-minded protestor tried to cut down a tree recently planted in a city park. Kimberly threw herself between the tree and the guy and took the brunt of his attack, resulting in a nasty injury. This resulted in two things: She is unlikely to return to her corporate life, unless forced to do so. She has her real I.D. with her, hidden in her belongings, though none of the eco group know who she really is. There is an investigative reporter digging into the story of the first 21st century girl, something the reporter explained to Kimberly while doing a story on the eco-tech's. |
