NMSU was quite an enjoyable school to attend. In stark contrast to LC, I found the NMSU campus to be quite full of just genuinely friendly, happy, helpful people. The setting is beautiful, but somewhat isolated. The instruction I received was top notch, and I was quite primed to get a job when I graduated...actually I had one before I graduated, as do most students in Computer Science there.
I enjoyed hiking in the beautiful nearby mountains, riding my bicycle to school every day, and being immersed somewhat in a different culture.
I would reccommend NMSU to anyone.
Although LC prides itself as being a school populated by many different peoples, it's multiculturalism is basically a joke...and pales beside NMSU....I met and befriended people from all corners of the globe at NMSU...practically none at LC

I would NOT reccommend Lewis and Clark College to my worst enemy.
The majority of the campus population
is often stoned or drunk, generally smelling of patchuli, or some other foul stench,
and often go for long periods of time without making
any effort to cleanse themselves
or flush their toilets (they claim it saves water)
(Im not joking).
