Gabrielle finds Joxer in a tavern telling "stories" of his adventures. She pulls his nose when he begins to talk about his love life with Xena. Joxer tells her that Xena has already come and gone so Gabrielle quickly takes after her. Joxer makes his way to King Lias castle to help Xena aid the dying king. The guards at first will not let him enter the palace, but Xena calls down, "Let him in. He's with me."Joxer enters and makes his way to Xena's room. She pounces on him, but he resists because he feels guilty about bragging in the bar. He announces that one of them must be strong and quickly exits the room. Not soon after he runs into Xena again, giving in he makes his move. He is startled when he is thrown into the dungen which is also occupied by Gabrielle. Gabby tells him that there is a Xena look-a-like named Diana. Diana comes in and Joxer apologizes to her. She shrugs it off and takes him into the hall where she promptly kisses him. They are interupted by the Nurse who wants Diana to sing the baby to sleep. Diana tells Joxer to wait in her chambers. Joxer finds Xena there. He tells Xena that "Diana wants me." He also tells her that doesn't mean they can't have fun. Xena throws him across the room. Soon they hear voices in the hall and so they hide. They learn that there is another Xena look-a-like named Meg. Xena is then able to sort everything out, and Xena and her look-a-likes live happily ever after. |
