Bliss, Cupid's young son, runs away with Cupid's arrows.   Bliss reaks havick by shooting people with arrows and making them fall in love.  Draco, Xena's old foe, turns up to kidnap the hestian virgins so he can sell them to slave traders.  Xena while trying to stop Draco gets hit with one of Cupid's arrows causing her to fall hopelessly in love with Draco.  Gabrielle also gets hit and falls in love with Joxer much to his pleasant surprise.  Then Draco gets hit and falls in love with Gabrielle.  Xena realizes something fishy is up and sends Joxer to find Cupid.  A mission he completes successfully.  Cupid takes his son home and sets everything back the way it was. The virgins are saved and everyone lives happily ever after.   Well almost.  Gabrielle slaps Joxer playfully and remarks, "Imagine. The two of us in love. Kinda makes you laugh." Joxer sadly says, "Ha ha." to her retreating back. Joxer's love for Gabrielle is real and Cupid can not remove it.

Joxer: "Hey! Ow! Hah-hah! He hurt my hand!"
Gabrielle: "Pookie!"

Xena: "I'm sorry sweetie, that hurt me a lot more than it hurt you! Did I say 'sweetie'? I've never used that word in my life.  But, he's so cute.  Joxer--you know what to do.  Hurry, there's no time to lose!"
Joxer: "Don't worry--I wouldn't fail you!

Gabrielle:  "Joxer!"
Joxer: "Gabrielle!"
Gabrielle: "Thank the gods!"
Joxer: "I do!"
