Minion Decks

In this vault has been stored an archive of decks. Each of the races of Middle-Earth can be found here. These are for the use of the young mortals who seek advice as they set out on the road to fame. Experienced Wizards and Wraith sometimes use this vault to save time. Whoever you are, good luck and I hope you can find lore of use in your quest.

Strategy
Deck Idea: This deck is very simple. Orcs smash and bash their way around Middle Earth to get what they want. The Ringwraith stays at home and oversees things. The resource half is straight-forward too, also involving the usual item gathering and a few factions and allies.

The hazard deck I'm using here is my standard corruption deck. There's no need to explain much. Again, the characters you play here don't matter too much. Choose the ones you like, but make sure they're Orcs, Trolls or men, 'cos this is an overt deck after all. The sideboard contains some cards which are necessary for the deck and some which might simply come in handy.

Strategy

Then, when you set about your business, remember this trick... This is the one that turned this deck from an average deck into a tournament winning deck: the deck has two companies. The starting company may gather extra characters and may even split, but a splinter group does essentially the same thing--it gathers ally, faction and, maybe, item points... The second company is your Ringwraith. Never discard A Malady Without Healing, and hold those Fell Rider modes. Then lay everything down at once and launch at an opponent's company, blasting them apart. They have all they can handle keeping up in MP accumulation against a fairly strong company getting simple and steady points, and when a Ringwraith busts them up, it's time to call the Audience with Sauron and gloat. Hang up the dead Heroes and cackle with Ringwraith-like glee!

This is the two deck version, and there should be two or three copies of Fell Rider in the sideboard. For One Deck replace the two Akhorahils with another two Witch Kings and replace the two Black Riders and The Creature of an Older World with three Fell Riders.
