War Powers Act

The War Powers Act gives the President of the Terran Confederacy to take full control of the Confderate Marine Corps should the President feel that although there is not a war between the Confederacy and an opposing clan that there is still a situation of war between them. This gives the President under the supervision of the Joint Chiefs permission to use the Confederate Armed Forces to aid another clan which is not an ally of the Confederacy and for other situations which the president believes worthy of engaging this act. The President needs no permission or authorization to initiate the War Powers Act but does require the authorization of the Joint Chiefs to pursue military involvement under the War Powers Act.
