Autocannon
Autocannons are automatic, self loading cannons firing a high velocity hail of solid shells. They are rapid firing weapons that can lay down a burst of fire to cover advancing troops, or strafe enemy held postions. These weapons are considered ideally suited for attacking enemy vehicles and forticications from long ranges. Autocannon are popular weapons in the Imperial Forces but are also a common sight amoungst Orks, who enjoy the balze of shells are mind numing recoil!
