Those wierd black and white photos are from an artistic rendition of Dante's Divine Comedy. That is a fascenating work of art to me, one that I believe has much merit. Each photo, to me, represents not only a part of Dante's journey, but also an aspect of my page. For example, in my journal, I have split it up into three cantos(the other two haven't happened yet, and, therefore, cannot be written). In the first, I use pictures from Inferno, that is before I leave for Burning Man. In the second, I use pictures from Purgatorio, for the trip to Black Rock. In the third, I use pictures from Paradisio, because I have realized my dream. No matter how Burning Man turns out, I will have beaten the odds. I will have arrived.
