This site was designed to give a home to Emergency!, Adam-12, and CHiPs fan fiction that falls into that category termed "Alternate Universe."

"Alt-U" fan fiction takes the premise of the series, and the established characters, and puts them into some mind-bending situations. Just a 'fer instance'....... Reed and Malloy have a close encounter with a aerial light display that kills all the electronics on their squad car, peels the paint, gives them a sunburn--- and a little something extra.

Sound intriguing? Yippee! You're an Alt-U aficionado, too! Write that story-- or any other that springs to mind-- and submit it.

Now, for the details. Please submit your story in Rich Text File format-- under the "Save As" feature of your word processor, that should be one of the choices. RTF files can be read, formatting intact, by all computers. Another big plus is that RTF files are less likely to carry viruses. Email me if you need help with this point.

Content-wise, the story must be A-U, of course. Please, keep the rating to a PG-13 or so. Definitely no higher than an R.  No slash (same sex relationships between the characters), no porn. Stories may be launched from a premise based on an original series' episode, but this must be clearly noted in your submission. If not, I'll consider it plagiarism and pull your story. Rewrites of episodes are not welcome, you must take it in an original direction. Pure plagiarism is a no-no, of course.

Artwork and poetry are also accepted. Please submit poetry RTF, and art as a gif or jpg attachment to an email.

I reserve the right to edit submssions for spelling, grammar and content, and to accept or reject submissions at my own discretion.

All work is purely for entertainment purposes, and no financial gain of any kind is received by the site creator. All works remain the property of their creator, and may not be reproduced in any way without written permission from the creator.
