Puck W!ld was created to be my avatar-character Jay Winger's evil side, which possessed viral powers.  Initially, Puck and Jay were one and the same, merely Jay using his viral powers when he went "abso-tively, posi-lutely, 100 percent, full-on, bucko nuts," when he went "puck wild."

Eventually, however, that virus-half took on a distinct personality and became Puck W!ld, whom I've described as Jay's own Tyler Durden.  (Reference to Fight Club.)  Puck is utterly without remorse and willing to kill anyone who doesn't comply with his demands.  He comes off as a nihilistic and hostile individual, which describes him pretty well.

I began to correspond with fellow Metaverse writer Java Trinomial, and through AOL IM chats, we began to RP using our respective characters.  She requested that I allow my "evil" half (Puck) to RP with her charmingly crazy character.  This led to an interesting series of RPs in which Puck was able to Infect the unInfectable "crazy polymorph chika" and began to alter her code.  This led to more RPs with Java and her own Authoric other-half, a benign virus called Tri Cyanopia.

Puck W!ld's powers and limits are still unknown to me.  So far, I know that Puck has the ability to throw around energy in a manner that rivals Hexadecimal, and has physical strength that rivals that of Megabyte.  He can also use telekinetic powers and literally rewrite the code of sprites and the like.  He's apparently indestructible (I have yet to figure out what Puck's vulnerabilities are in his virus form).

Puck, for reference, resembles my avatar-character, being humanoid in form, with the hair being more shaggy and out of control (even a bit longer).  Puck is also more built than Jay, and has metallic silver skin.  His eyes are a very evil-looking red-on-black and his trademark colors are blue and silver.

All in all, if you happen to see me in a chat or IRC and I go into "Puck W!ld" mode, I suggest you don't piss him off.  Puck powergames without shame.
