One of the best mercenaries in the business is the man called Nathan Justice. A man of few emotions, Justice never smiles. His stern demeanor, coupled with his strong physique, gravelly voice, and harsh skills makes for a definite bad ass that most anybody does not want to mess with. He leads his mercenary team from his mobile headquarters on his personal ship, the SS Grizzly.
Justice was largely unknown to the basic public until January 2499, following a mission he undertook that brought him to System Vector, which had been cut-off from Net access following a viral infection. No less than five viruses had taken over much of the system, led by a Class-12 named Ünres. With the help of the System Principal Office and a hacker, Calvin "Cowboy" West, Justice was able to kill all five viruses and free the system from its infection. Justice also discovered that Ünres had been written by a masked hacker named Chaotis, who hinted that he'd been paid to do so.
Justice made the connection and confronted the head of the World Council System Upkeep Committee, Senator Albert Brosky. Brosky, of course, denied all ties to Chaotis and threatened legal action against Justice, but thanks to Justice's personal friendship with Prime Guardian Maximillian Jennings, he was able to avoid prosecution.
Soon after, Justice was hired by Jennings to locate a kidnapped Guardian, Lt. Thomas Burke, who had been captured by a vicious anti-human terrorist group called the Crimson Claw. Justice and his team discovered Burke's importance, then infiltrated the Claw with the help of an insider to rescue Burke and break up that cell of the Claw.
Justice appears to have a shady past, if the hints dropped by Burke (who apparently knows the man, despite having never met Nathan Justice) and the hacker Hyena are any indication. But Justice refuses to discuss his past and instead keeps his mind focused on the present.
Justice has dark brown hair and a scraggly beard, and his eyes are like glittering obsidian. As stated, he never smiles. He usually wears a green military-esque shirt with a chevron-like pattern on its left pocket, and dark blue work pants. He wears steel-toed boots and a belt where he carries his tools and his pistol, which resembles an American Civil War-era flintlock (it fires pulses and, in secondary fire, a cutting beam).
During System Vector job, Justice encountered a free Bit, which apparently possesses intelligence. However, it can only communicate in 'Yes' or 'No', but it still follows around Justice, who tolerates its presence.
