The virus known as Michel Angelo is far more dangerous than Megabyte (but not nearly as cool).  Angelo possesses far more physical power than Megabyte, stronger and able to manipulate energy like Hexadecimal.  He also boasts a much larger viral army which consists of sprites as well as binomes.  But Angelo's pride and joy is his warship, the SS Mitnick, with which he strikes terror into the hearts of systems, which he either destroys or conquers.

Angelo appears muscular and brawny.  His skin is glowing red, but is covered by hard black armor-skin.  Red traces appear at major joints and along his pectoral and abdominal muscles.  His face is chrome, with glowing red eyes and a glowing red mouth.  Likewise, his hair is a stiff crewcut, also glowing red.  Chrome tendrils grow from the backs of his shoulders, falling like a cape.  These tendrils help Angelo focus his incredible energy reserves -- whether blasting energy or absorbing it.

Those he Infects possess dusky gray skin and dark hair, their eyes an insidious black-on-red.  His chief lackey is a sprite who leads the Elite Forces of the SS Mitnick, and is known only as the Commander.  Angelo does not tolerate failure, but rather than punish the competent and efficient Commander, Angelo instead punishes the Commander's always-inept Lieutenant.  (Thus, the Mitnick is constantly in search of a new Lieutenant.)

Angelo, along with his sister-virus Melissa, learned of the existence of a mythical file called the Book of the Net, the Cybernomicon, which had the capacity to upgrade the viruses to a higher level, perhaps even to a supervirus greater than Daemon.  Despite being allied with Daemon and her forces, Angelo and Melissa sought the Book so they could usurp her throne for themselves.  A Guardian named Pentium beat them to it, however, but when they captured him, he had disposed of the Book.  Furious, Angelo destroyed Pentium's mind and threw him off the ship.

The Mitnick later tracked the Cybernomicon to the system of Mainframe, which Angelo invaded with thoughts of corrupting the system for his own needs while he searched for the Book.  He ran afoul of the amnesiac Pentium (now called RAM) and was dealt a wicked series of blows by the Guardian -- his chest armor was cracked open, several of his tendrils were cut off, a nasty scar marred his chrome face, and his left arm had been severed above the elbow.  Angelo retreated to his home system to recuperate, but returned to Mainframe again.

During his second invasion, Angelo and Melissa were actually able to take over the Principal Office, but the gunslinger Nil Cipher, the semi-benign virus Hexadecimal, and young sprite Little Enzo Matrix were able to break into the P.O. and fight off Angelo, crippling him and sending him packing.  But not before the Cybernomicon was discovered.

Now knowing the Book's location, Angelo invaded yet again, captured RAM, Cipher, and the Book, and had the Cybernomicon partially decrypted.  A Full Restore algorithm was unlocked, and this restored Angelo to full power and healed his grievous wounds.  Cipher attacked him, getting severely beaten by the virus, but RAM used the Full Restore on himself (becoming Pentium again), then used an Undo algorithm on Angelo, reverting him to his crippled state, whereupon Cipher destroyed him utterly.

Although Angelo is deleted, his sister-virus Melissa has sworn revenge on all who were responsible for his demise.
