You choose the green door and open it. You walk inside and see two interesting ferilons. One is purple with black stripes and the other is red, green, and yellow striped. They seem to be arguing quietly over something in their garden. You see that they don't have flowers in their garden just vegetables. You walk up and the purple one turns at your footsteps. You smile at the ferilon and introduce yourself. The ferilon seems a bit surprised to see you, but recovers quickly. He smiles at you and says, "My name's Bagiera and this is my mate Isis. Welcome to our home." He thinks a second and beckons you toward the garden.
"Perhaps you can settle something for us," Bagiera says. "Isis thinks that these are carrots but I believe they are radishes. What do you think?" You look at the plant leaves in front of you. You don't really know much about gardening, but you know what carrot leaves look like. These look nothing like them.
"I don't know if they're radishes, but they're definitely not carrots. The leaves don't look right," you tell the two ferilons. Bagiera nods and Isis looks a little upset. You wonder if they had planted the garden. Isis notices your puzzled look.
"What's the matter?" she asks you. "You look confused." You nod your head and explain that if they had planted this garden, they should know what's in it. Bagiera's smile gets wider. He walks over to a table sitting in the other side of the room. He beckons you over and you look curiously at the document on the table. You see that it is a layout of the garden. In one corner another small plot was penciled in. On it is written Cubs. You look at it for a second until Bagiera draws your attention to another plot. The plot that was in question was in the upper righthand corner. In neat writing, the document showed that radishes were planted there.
"We did plant the garden and make a diagram of what is where," Bagiera explains. "But Isis thought we mislabeled the diagram. Thank you for settling the argument." You look at the diagram again and point at the lower righthand plot. Isis walks over to see what you are pointing at. She looks at the writing and smiles sheepishly.
"There's the carrots," she says. "Thanks." You sit down on one of the chairs at the table. Bagiera sits down while Isis goes to get some cups. She fills them from a stream in the back corner. She comes back, sets the cups down, and sits down herself.
"So," Isis starts. "Tell us about yourself." You tell the two a few stories about your life and they match you story for story. Then Bagiera asks, "Who have you visited so far?" You tell them who you've seen and what you thought of your visits. The two ferilons laugh at a couple of your descriptions. You look around the cave and notice that there are four other small ferilons playing on their own small garden. Isis notices your gaze and says proudly, "Those are our cubs. The red one with black feet is Gildor and the red one with green wings is Relany. The gray one with pink wings is Corbyn and the gray one with pink wings and white horn is Telinal." You finish your drink and walk over to the four cubs. They greet you excitedly and tell you their names. You reply with yours and spend a few minutes playing in the small garden plot with them. When you are finished, Bagiera brings you a bowl of water to rinse the dirt off. Finishing, you stand up and say, "I've enjoyed your company, but I think it's time I should be leaving. It was nice meeting you." Waving goodbye to the two adults and four cubs, you walk out the door and on to your next adventure.
