Hollaya
is actually a small moon colony orbiting the
largest of two gas giants in system. The colony
consists of several private companies linked
together by railway tunnels surrounding the
starport. Each company has its own Neighborhood
or quarter as its called the companies involved
in this venture are: Starline Fuels, Dysan
Industries, Theris Refineries, Imperial Tech
Refineries, and Lortec Fuels. They all have
installations and
refineries orbiting the two gas giants in system.
These are called "Beanstalk" orbital
platforms known for their long cables that drop
to the planets surface below and carry the
hydrogen up to the platform refineries in
orbit. Competition is rather fierce here as
rival companies compete for harvest and sale of
hydrogen gathered in system. These companies are
so competitive that they have been known to
resort to piracy, sabotage and other sorts of
company warfare. The Imperium is intervened with
a law level implementation restricting the
import of most firearms and explosives and such
and this is enforced with a few Imperial revenue
cutters inspecting all incoming vessels and
planet
side with Imperial Star Marshals A well skilled
though small police force. This system
exports nearly 40% of the Subsectors starship
fuel supply due to the rare high quality of
hydrogen the two gas giants posses.
