One Side
There was an argument in the messhall the other day.
No, it was a different kind of argument - Neelix stayed safely away. Or, rather, he joined the defense.
Us.
Yes, they were arguing over us.
No, not whether we . . . precisely.
They were arguing about our feelings for eachother. As if it's their domain to -
Whether or not we're still, I think it was, "madly, passionately in love."
I don't know. Are we?
Yeah. After all this time, we haven't lost something, have we?
They don't know about that! Do they?
I agree. We're still . . . .
Exactly. They just don't see it.
The Other
An argument? There are always arguments - usually over Neelix's cooking.
What were they arguing over that Neelix had to defend?
Us?
And whether or not we still . . . .
Well, what were they arguing about? Don't leave me in suspense.
Our feelings for each other? What exactly are they questioning? Don't they have a clue that -
Aren't we "madly, passionately in love?"
I think so.
Well, certainly not in certain areas. You know, fighting, making love.
Damn, I hope not. But, it doesn't matter. What they don't see, they don't know. That way, they can't say a thing.
Madly, passionately in love?
