Talis

You find the Reef's waters to soothing cool...not too hot, but not too cold, either. Not cold enough to sap all your energy, anyway. You paddle about slowly as fish fins brush your legs as they swim past. Bright corals spot the sandy bottom. You spot a particularly nice piece of broken coral sitting in a pretty open spot, so you gulp in a breath and dive for it.

As you go down, you notice a dark shape dart out in front of you. You stop and scull to hover in the water as you onserve the otter-like creature stoop over the coral piece, pick it up, and dance through the water towards you. As it getys close...it looks like a little dragon!

It pops its head above water, and like a serpent it slices through the water towards you. You surface as well to meet it.

"I was guessing you were going for this, neh?" The flit grins at you. "You gotta be careful- eels love to lurk about and chomp off fingers, 'specially if you're not quick enough!" It cackles and winks at you as it drops the bright blue piece of coral into your hands. "My name is Talis. I am a Kiezo flit!" As if to emphasize, the darts underwater and twirls about gracefully. She pops back up and takes a breath. "Gotta breathe are like you, too...but I like the water most. Gots webbs!" She takes out one of her hands and shows off the blue webs between her black fingers. "'N a tail!" She flips the flukes tail she possesses out of the water.

You compliment her, and Talis purrs with delight. You reach out and give her a little scratch under the chin, and she rubs her neck against your fingers happily.

Then, with an impish glint in her eyes, she dunks you, cackles again, and darts off. You smirk as you watch the little black flit twirl and spin in the water as she makes her getaway!
