Silent Meadows

Though this meadow is silent, you can see the life. Butterflies, dragonflies, bees, wasps, beetles and grasshoppers are thriving everywhere. Although the insect population is great, you long to see some real creatures, perhaps an equine of sorts. Your eyes scan the distant plains, hoping.

Then, in the distance, is a lone horse shape, gliding in the grass like a ship. You jog, and the horse turns it's head in your direction and gives a loud whinny.

"Bizket, Wanderer! How are you this fine day?" she calls from a distance

You wait until you reach the white mare before you speak. Only then do you notice her long rainbow horn.

"I'm great, thanks. What does 'bizket' mean?" you ask as you admire her horn.

"'Bizket' is hello in Jazborwyn-sawa, a language that the Mystic She learnt on one of her travels. I am Rainbow Showers, and this is Silent Meadows. This is where the herds of unicorns dwell, including my brother, Spirit. If you walk around a bit, you'll find their glades and grottos." She swishes her tail, and looks to a large mountain, where dragons glide in the sky.

"That is Jazborwyn Weyrs...sad thing that no more dragons dwell there. Just beyond that is a mountain range where strange dragons are said to live. So far only Mekana, Meghan have dared travel there. I am starting on an expedition myself. Might you want directions before I bid thee farewell?"

You nod. "That would be greatly appriciated, Rainbow Showers"

"If you turn back, you will find Lone Spirit Forest. The Mountain in front of you here is the Weyr. The larger mountain beside that is Saint Mountain where the pegasi live. And if head the other way," she points with her horn, "You'll be at Misted Rainforest. That's all. I must be off! Fare thee well!"

Rainbow Showers flicks her tail and leaves you to find your way.
