"We have to try to destroy the other Defiant while we have a chance! We can't let those people get a hold of Federation technology!" O' Brien exclaimed.
"Agreed. Lock all phasers and quantum torpedoes on the other Defiant and fire on my mark. Ma..." Sisko ordered.
"Wait. Hail coming in. It's coming from the other Defiant!" Dax told Sisko.
"How is that possible!?!"
"Maybe when the ship got cloned, the process also cloned everything about each ship." O' Brien hypothesized.
"Possible."
"The hail is coming from the Defiant. Its Sisko." Dax replied.
"What!?! The crew the same, too? Well this doubles our chances for survival. We have been caught in a tractor beam. We'll put on the best fight we can but we don't know how long we can hold out. Try to get back to Earth and tell Federation Command about this." the other Sisko told them.
"We'll be back as soon as possible with a larger fleet." the original Sisko said.
"What happened over there? I want full sensor sweeps on where the Defiant disappeared." Picard ordered.
"Captain! Hail coming from Voyager!"
"Captain, what is it?"
"My crew just found something in the computer that should interest you. My crew checked on all of the information on this universe that we have and we found some recreational reading from the Twentieth Century that coincides with the names and sensor readings of these ships. Here, I'll download the info we got on them to your ship." Janeway told him.
"Astounding. That people from the Twentieth Century actually wrote about all this." Picard said as he examined the data pad, "We know all of their history, what happened to them, and about their entire lives. All in a series that started with "Star Wars, A New Hope."
"Change firing coordinates to where that tractor beam is emitting." Sisko ordered. "Keep firing until it shuts down."
The phaser cannons spoke again and again. The shield bubble around the Super Star Destroyer started to shrink and deteriate. All of a sudden, the shield bubble collapsed. Transparitsteel and other components liquidated and the tractor beam was utterly wreaked. The other Defiant finally recovered from the ion attack, turned around and wreaked havoc on the outer hull of the SSD.
"Message coming in from the Enterprise. Urgent." Dax told Sisko.
"Put it through."
"Captain, if you do a search of the sensor readings in your databanks you will get a match. Use the info to fight that large ship." Picard told them.
"Hail the other Defiant. Relay that message to them." Sisko replied. "Follow Picard's orders and do that search."
"Wow! These are books about these same ships!" O' Brien exclaimed.
"See if there are any ship schematics in the books." Sisko said.
"An entire book. The shield generators and the bridge are on top. The shield generators are those big ball things. The bridge is right below."
"Tell the other Defiant to assault the bridge of the ship."
"Both enemy ships moving to assault us. They're coming toward the bridge!" An officer told Yung.
"Shoot them! Order all turbolaser batteries, ion cannons, and concussion missiles to get those ships!" Yung yelled/ordered.
"Enemy fire trying to hit us." O' Brien reported. "Missiles coming our way."
"Dodge them." Sisko replied, "Evasive manuever Omega."
"They are dodging our fire." the same officer said, "Concussion missiles and turbolaser fire coming our way." His voice rising to surprise.
"Where did they get that weaponry!" Yung demanded.
"That fire is our own." The officer said while paling. "It's gonna his us!"
All of the turbolasers shots and concussion missiles slammed straight into the bridge of the SSD. The ship started to careen wildly. Explosions started ripping through it. Then the backbone of the "conquering" fleet was destroyed. A huge incandescent ball of fire was once where the Super Star Destroyer was.
