The Moon
By Josh Winters
As I look at the full moon from a distance,
My life flashes before me this very instance.
I see my life you and me together,
One big family, always and forever.
As I see a cloud pass by the moon,
The stars shine bright, the cloud will be gone soon.
Which brings me to the point I'm trying to say,
My love for you is true, it will never go away.
The moon has craters valleys and peaks,
It's full and round,very unique.
You are the love of my life I'm trying to say,
Lets get married on that day in May.
You are the one and I can't wait,
It can only be one thing and that would be fate.
As I see the moon in your eyes,
I'm full of hellos and no good-byes.
I see the moon as it appears to be,
Just a reminder that you hold the key.
I could never leave or part with your heart,
I couldn't do it, not even at the start.
The beauty of the moon only we can see,
Together as one, you and me.
So as I read you these words that are spoken so true,
Remember sweetheart, I love you.
Your always on my mind,
