"So it was the part of you that needed to be open and share yourself with others that was giving you those dreams. You were trying to tell yourself…"
Tony nodded and kissed Julie’s forehead. They were sitting together in his car, holding each other. He couldn’t remember the last time he’d talked so much unless he was helping someone. He was just telling her things…everything. "I needed you. I needed everyone around me and I just kept it all shut and locked and I didn’t realize it until then…looking around that castle, and not a soul there, nothing there…just me. Alone."
"Tony, you weren’t, not ever, not really. We loved you. I loved you. It’s just that it’s hard to love someone that doesn’t let you."
"It’ll be different."
She smiled. "I believe you." She sighed pleasantly, and nodded to the windshield. "Sun’s coming up." And outside it was, the night sky graying and turning pink in the east.
Tony hugged her tightly. "Yeah, it is."
Jules kissed his cheek lightly. "About damn time, if you ask me."
