Hydra took over a US Submarine carrying a computer virus capable of shutting down the US Navy. Captain America went in to stop Hydra. He Succeeded. With the help of the ranking officer, Cap set the Sub to sink so the virus could not be salvaged. The explosion knocked Cap and the Officer unconscious. When he woke, the officer, the shield, and himself were sinking toward the ocean depths. Cap had to make a decision, save the life of the officer – or – his shield. There was never any doubt.
