22k Another relatively cartoony pic of WM as my favorite man in black, this time from the prison scene in Act II of the musical
24k This is my second attempt at drawing WM as Chauvelin, this time during the early part of "Falcon In The Dive." It's not great (among other things, the head's still a bit too big) but at least it's a whole lot better than my first attempt. I actually got so impatient while I was drawing that I scanned it when it was only partially finished and then filled in all the color using Photo-Paint. If you want to see just how much I did using the computer, click here to take a look at the original scan.
31k Here is William Michals autographing someone's teddy-Chau (or should that be Chauvy-bear?). He was smiling a second ago, honest.
22k This one is from my visit to Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum in NYC. It's the original death mask of Robespierre taken by Madame Tussaud. Robespierre was a character in SP, so the photo is relevant to the subject. If you have a strong aversion to blood and stuff then you probably shouldn't look at this!
16k Here's another photo from Madam Tussaud's, this time of the death masks of of Marie Antoinette and Louis XVI. This is another one not for the squeamish!
33k This is a very cartoony sketch of Chauvelin (as played by William Michals) in the final scene of the musical. Unfortunately, this particular picture came off one of my doodle sheets, which means that it was overlapping at least a half dozen other sketches that I couldn't completely edit out after scanning. This explains the random lines going through the sword (which was completely wrong to begin with) and other parts. I also did this completely from memory, without any photos for reference, which explains why the picture bears so little resemblance to the real Mr. Michals. I don't have any excuse for why the head is so big.
35k This quick sketch from the margins of my notebook is later attempt at drawing Chauvelin. It still doesn't really match the picture in my mind but at least he doesn't look like Dracula anymore.
33k A quick sketch of Percy to go along with the quick sketch of Chauvelin, also from the margins of my notebook.
30k This was my first attempt at drawing Chauvelin as I imagined him after reading his description in the first few books, but it came out looking like Dracula instead. Oh well.
33k It's Sir Percy Blakeney, Baronet, chibi-style!
27k This is what I did one morning at 4am when I should have been working on my art homework. I started out trying to do something in a Dr. Seuss-like style, and then it turned strange. No, it doesn't have any meaning. I was just doodling.
- Some of the characters in these pictures may not be mine, but all of the pictures themselves are, so please get permission from me before doing anything with any of these images. -
