Eric Carr,born Paul Charles Caravello July 12,1950 in Queens,NY, was hired to replace Peter Criss in 1980 after Peter became too involved in substance abuse.Eric was a very heavy drummer that helped get KISS out of the disco era that they were stuck in.Eric was a genuinely nice guy that always went out of his way for the fans.Eric sang "Beth" on the Smashes,Thrashes,and Hits release,and "Little Caeser" on 1989's Hot In The Shade.Unfortunately, fate took Eric from us too early.He was diagnosed with cancer which couldn't be removed surgically.He passed on to the "Great Drum Kit In The Sky" on November 24,1991.We love you Eric!
