Bladeclaw was one of 10 crabs that were the hatch of Pincerklaw and
Rockshell, his parents. Pincerklaw was leader of the toads and was
killed by the lizards. Rockshell built a raft for Bladeclaw to sail
away from the toads. He was cast out upon many lands, where he claimed
allegiance.
