RHINOX

*Profile: Rhinox was one of the original members of the Axalon crew to crash on Earth with Optimus Primal, Rattrap and Cheetor. He is old friends with Optimus Primal and serves as the Maximal defense specialist. He is also very good friends with fellow crewmate Rattrap. It was Rhinox who designed the Axalon security system Sentinel. This acted as the Maximal defense system until it was stolen by Megatron and the Predacons. He and Rattrap were the only other members of the Axalon crew to know the secret of Protoform X as well. 

For a brief time, Rhinox joined the Predacon ranks when he was captured by Megatron and reprogrammed. Rhinox proved too cunning and dangerous as a Predacon, so Megatron undid the programming, returning Rhinox to the Maximals. 

Rhinox is a powerful Maximal who possesses great strength and intelligence. Optimus Primal himself admitted Rhinox could be a "Prime" leader if he ever so chose. But Rhinox does not want to shoulder such responsibility regardless of his ability to do so. He is also secretly insecure, despite his strengths and feels leadership is best left to others as he stays behind to "smell the flowers". 

Regardless, Rhinox will take charge if need be as he demonstrated when Optimus Primal was destroyed and the Maximals begun to fight amongst themselves. He knows he has strength and he knows how to use it!
