there are two kinds of Fuzors in Japan:
regular Fuzors (who may be Cybertrons or Destrons)
and Blentrons (who are loyal to Unicron).

BEAST MODE

Part… some sort of lizard, I think… Iguana? And part… some sort of insect I think… Dragonfly? Man Fuzors are stupid.

He’s about 180mm long, with a 155mm wingspan, standing about 55mm tall. His wings are way to small to carry his massive bulky body anywhere. So it’s a good thing he’s got four of them, he can get twice as nowhere.

Basically you have a vaguely iguana body (With an extra set of vestigial legs plonked on for good measure) with an Iguana type head and a… well a dragonfly sitting on his back.
There’s not other way to put it. There is a giant dragonfly (doubled over so it’s looking at its own butt) on Skyshadow’s back. If he shoo’d it away he might actually look like something.

He has various points of articulation in this mode, about 3 in each leg (hip, knee, ankle) and four wings and a jaw (for a total of 17 points of articulation). Disappointingly, you can’t move his tail. Partly to do with his transformation, but mostly because you shoot his missile out of it. His only gimmicks in this mode are an incredibly lame flapping mechanism and his tail-missile. Nothing spectacular.

TRANSFORMATION TO ROBOT  MODE

Disconnect his dragonfly head from his back, for starters. Then pull his iguana head off (or visa versa, any order). That done, pull his beast vestigial legs away from the body. The torso then flips back, allowing the arms to be moved. However you’ll need all the bits on his torso to be in just the right position before you can move them.

Click the torso back into place, and then turn the robot’s waist around. His beast legs can now be changed into his robot legs, but only do that if you’re lame and stupid. Before you do that, flip his beast-tail up, and turn it into his robot head. Don’t be too literal here. The whole tail doesn’t form the head, just the tip. The rest of the tail forms the back spine of the robot mode. Any attempt to turn the whole tail into the head will BREAK the toy. So stop being stupid.

After this it’s a matter of fiddling. Turn the robot legs around, move the main-body wings so they rest against his chest. Move the forelegs/vestigial legs up out of the way. The final thing is to find his hand. His dragonfly head conceals a three-fingered hand just push the head towards the wrist and you see the hand. Cool.

ROBOT MODE

Not bad, not good. He has a nice stable robot mode, which is in not hurry to fall apart. But a few things make him undesirable. First of all, he’s butt-ugly. The three-head look is out. It was out in the 1800s when people stopped sleeping with their cousins. It’s most definitely out. Okay, people still sleep with their cousins, but let’s not go into that. [hmm... could all those rumours about Queenslanders be true? I'm kidding people, besides, Andrew is a Queenslander himself - Kelvin]

The second major problem is the missile. He launches his missile out of his mouth. All you do is push on the missile and the force of you pushing it is supposed to launch it. It does. But not that well (and the missile gets curved). That’s not the only problem with the missile. The other problem is the lack of plural. He has only ONE.

Finally, his other weapon. In robot mode one set of dragonfly wings becomes a kind of pincher claw. Unfortunately the claw is way too big and unbalances all his poses.  Oh well.

RUB STICKER LOCATION

Strangely enough, he doesn’t HAVE one. Wait, yes he does. For some reason they decided to hide it. Maybe because he’s meant to be a robot in disguise? Wait. He’s a FUZOR. Sorry… it’s on his back (in robot mode) on the inside of a piece, which forms his Beast Mode neck.

OVERALL

Not great, not terrible (at least not by Fuzor standards). Though I’m tempted to give him a bad mark just because he’s a Fuzor, I’ll give him a bad mark because he’s not very good instead. D+
