MACHINE MODE

Length: 9 cm
I think anyone will agree with that. His race car mode is so nicely done that a non transfan could easily mistake him for a hotwheel, the designers actually took into mind  that a lot of people hate seeing robot kibble in the alternate mode of  figures, and completely hide all of the robot components very well. In  vehicle mode the car moves nicely and pretty swift and along with the weapon in the driver seat and the missiles molded on to the side of the spoiler and the shooting exhaust pipes, For a little guy he¹s ready for
battle and could packon helluva punch. However he is a tiny little thing , from all the hype of Beast Machines I have to admit I was expecting something bigger. But
I¹m not too disappointed because he actually looks like a tough little guy.

TRANSFORMATION TO ROBOT  MODE

The transformation from car to robot is not challenging but it is complex, I think the designers also took into mind that we're sick of simple transformations in basic figures. First you fold the spoiler down from there you go and lift the hood end of the car half way then pull the legs out from the side pegs, the directions leave them somewhat half folded but Ialways straighten them out and then I rotate them around at the waist, from here go back to the spoiler/arms and pull them apart and all the way down. Now finish raising the hood till it is on his back and the nose end is pointing downward. The head should pretty go into the right area if you did everything so far correctly. Now just go down to the wheels at the end of legs and fold them until they lock down as the feet.

ROBOT MODE

Height: 7.5 cm
His robot mode is really awesome as well. The spoiler become the forearms, giving him the same armament as he has in race car mode, and the weapon that sits in the driver's seat is now on top of his head. However, I don't particularly care for this place for the weapon, so good thing it comes off and can be placed in his hand, which in my opinion is a better place for it. While we are in the head area I'd like to point out that his head looks more like Tankor's head than the Tankor toy does. Furthermore, his feet are kinda big since they are the wheel cases, but if you don't like this you can put them behind the legs however this makes for a short robot. In robot mode I counted 10 points of articulation one place I'd like to
point out is in the knees; this guys knees are basically right under his hips I was wondering if this would take away from his poseabilty but quickly found that I probably achieved more poses because of this. The firing mechanism for the exhaust missiles is similar to that of the Cyberjets in that you simply push on the back of the missile and you get a good distance, although you get a better distance with the Cyberjets.

SPARK CRYSTAL LOCATION

The spark crystal is well hidden like on all the vehicons so far, it is under the front end of the hood between the two wheels.

OVERALL

Mirage is a nicely done basic figure.
