There is this common misconception that we, Wiccans, worshop and serve "Satan". What those people fail to realize is that we believe basically in the same things, but with some "twists". For example; Christans have the 10 commandments and the Golden Rule-Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. Wiccans ave the Rule of Three or the Three fold Rule-" Do as you please, as long as it harm none" or "Anything you do shall be visited back on you 3 fold" (good for good, bad for bad). That incluse to yourself. Now this is not a free-for-all liciense, you have to look at the larger picture. Not just what you are wanting.
It has also been said that in out practices we sacrifice young children, virgins in white dresses, and animals to give strength to out rites. This is as far from the truth as is saying that Pink Floyd is actually gospil music. The rites we do are for enlightenment, the helping of others, and celebrating our holidays not for personal gain or power.
