Many have passed over the river
of blood and entered
the halls of the honoured dead.
We ask little, only that you show
due deference to those that have fallen
and remember the sacrifice they
have made.
All fought and died as warriors and upheld the spirit of the Chou-Hadra to their final breath.
Zed Ragnar
Torcal Khan's son, he held the Chou-hadra potential within
him, although he never made the first step on the journey.
He died bravely after being petrified under mysterious
circumstances on the island of New Illyria.
Alaeric
Darkowl Younger brother
of Quinn, Alaeric died after being ambushed
by a vampire while trying to rescue his brother. He died the day
before his wedding, but his greatest despair was that his death
came before he could see the spirit of Ancalime the Black purged
from his beloved's body forever.
Shazell
Calmar Although choosing
not to make the final step of the journey,
she remained a loyal ally to the Chou-Hadra to the end and died
after a sneak attack by sea hags and their allies at the Unicorn
Autumn Accounting of 1099.
Fungus Da
Loon Although technically
dying many years ago, we were able to
journey to the halls of the dead and return his spirit to his body.
However, he died (again) in true goblin style after eating a
poisoned scroll that he was delivering! It was either that or drop
his beer!
Eustace
Surrey The death of
the regent of Sietch-Iban and Admiral of the
second Unicorn Fleet is mysterious to say the lease. He appears
to have killed his wife and then been driven insane by grief,
leading him to take his own life. His death was a great blow to
the Chou-hadra, as he was almost ready to undergo Rustai.
Eric Swiftblade
His death at Faction moot two was a great loss to the
Chou-Hadra and the Unicorn Faction. He served as Adelena's
bodyguard for almost two years and never shunned his duties. He
died with honour and exemplified the Chou-Hadra spirit and code.
