The purpose is threefold: 1) It permits players to roleplay Ultima Online from the "dark side" so they may enjoy the game in its complete setting if they choose. 2) It allows players of Ultima Online to expand their horizons; to learn how to roleplay the "dark side." 3) It is done "just for fun" adding the extra dimension of roleplay to Ultima Online.
