Three days ago, an Earth Alliance destroyer on a patrol near our outer territory picked up several signals of unknown origin. The destroyer moved into investigate and contact was lost with it shortly after.

We have a potential situation here, the cruiser group we deployed to investigate the loss of our destroyer has not been heard from and has been presumed destroyed. This indicates a potential threat. We've got a potential problem John. Earth Force has been losing ships in a sector at the edge of their territory. They don't know what's going on but it's freaking them out. I recomend that we send a couple Whitestars on a recon mission.
