SITUATION REPORT

SB Omega

K.C. Davenport, Gervais, and a host of the exec staff, are curently
probing the dissappearance of Lt. J'Nar.  The Base XO has recently
returned from the placing of communications beacons, deep in the
interior of the Cocoon.

USS Fenris

The Fenris is underway to the mission zone. The senior staff is weighing the
possibilities of a non-confrontational way to fulfill their mission.

USS Athene

  The USS Athene has recieved orders to investigate a planet on the edge
of the coccoon that may be under siege by unknown forces. She is presently
undergoing pre-departure checks, and should be ready to sortie within a
few hours.  Two new arrivals have also joined the crew, a permanent
Barkeep, and a qualified Counselor.

USS Heracles

The investigation into the death of Chief Petty Officer Janik continues.
New evidence includes a time of death and the signs that someone has been
tampering with the Computer's Main Core. Meanwhile, the Heracles is nearing
the Irimada Sector.

USS Regulator

The Uss Regulator is still in space dock. Repairs are completed and the
ship is loading in perperation of its next mission. A ceremony is being
scheduled to present the most resent promotions to the crew.

USS Curie

USS Horizon

Negotiations with the nonpsionic colonists have succeeded and they will 
leave the planet.  The new CNS has discovered another sentient race on 
the planet and the ship must now decide how to deal with them.  CNS 
Phaegal was injured while making her discovery.  A new psi talent has 
been discovered by Slater.  Negotiations with the second group of 
colonists continues.  Bragg was injured while saving ERoth and 
Threin from a lightning strike. Seismic activity is increasing.

Outpost 721

With eleven hours remaining until the asteroid collides with the outpost, 
the crew is initiating a plan using both Corvette-class ships to halt the 
asteroid.

USS Phoenix

Strange things are a foot for the away team. The OPS officer and the
crewman with him are being affect by the time destorions. Meanwhile the
FCO's returned to duty, and the crew are prepairing to travel in time.

USS Katana

The Admiral has assigned a Counselor, Chief Medical Officer, and Chief
Science Officer to the Katana, but as yet have not reported to the ship.
Only a few positions remain to be filled: Flight Control and Chief of
Engineering.  The Senior Officers currently on the ship have gotten together
in Ensign Asil's quarters for dinner.
 
Additional Intelligence Report

Unsettling military preparations at the border between Cardassian Union 
and the Klingon Occupied Zone.

Transmissions in the Sagan system detected by a Class IX probe are suspected
to be possible Na-Chem related.

Sijan class transport carrying Marine equipment and weapons attacked en
route to Omirax IV on the edge of the Cardassian Trucial Zone.
Surveillance sensors were sabotaged prior to the attack, and as such, the
raiders are unknown.

An asteroid has been artifically altered from its original trajectory.  The
new trajectory having C1 directly in its path.  The Na-Chem are highly
suspected of diverting the asteroid, but there has been insufficient time to
confirm that.
