SITUATION REPORT

SB Omega

The changling killed, the Starfleet Security Office is conducting a thorough
investigation on the incident. The CSO has been arrested and will have to
stand answer in a court martial. The commando on Gaia has been neutralized.
The Admiral has returned and resumed her duties. The Cocoon has been opened
to civilian traffic. Omega personnel begins preparations to set up a reliable
communication link through the Portal.

USS Fenris

The away teams returned from Juun. LtMaj McArthur and Captain Link, after
questioning General Taing, are put under temporary arrest for the way they
conducted their information gathering, severely stressing the new
relationship between Juun and the Federation. They are both reprimanded and
then assigned as command duo for the new outpost to regain the Juuns'
confidence. The Fenris sets course for the Nedrex system, where a suitable
location for the station will be found.

USS Athene

The Athene is badly damaged and drifting in space around Fiona-161. They
have dispatched the alien pressence aboard the ship and the CMO is busily
tending to the wounded and the crewmens infected with a virus.  The Chief
Engineering Officer is implementing a plan to jury rig a solar sail in
order to provide power to the vessel's life support, thus buying time for
the crew to repair the ship.

USS Heracles

The crew of the Heracles that had been taken hostage by the pirates has
escaped and disabled the cloaking device that hid the station from the
Heracles. With this done, the two shuttlecraft that had been captured,
returned to the Heracles along with Lorenzo, the pirate in charge of the 
station.

USS Regulator

The investigation of Outpost 2841 continues. Some strange entity attacked
and seriously injured several crew members, the FO was killed. Three members
of the away team discovered that the experiments dealing with plants on
the station were replaced by something not human. A strange creature was
discovered, presumably not hostile. Captain Tomo-kwihnai ordered a command
post to be set up in the docking bay, three shuttles were dispatched to
that end, as well as to return the injured crew members. Captain
Tomo-kwihnai requested marine support to regain control of the station.

USS Curie

Shortly after departing to the Negdren sector, a strange flesh eating
'Disease' has disabled a science officer. The CMO is working on a cure
and cause. Two strange ships were encountered locked in what appeared
to be a tracter beam. One of the ships was destroyed while the other did
not appear harmed. The alien ship did not respond to hails and could not
be scanned fully. It is presently following the Curie on a identical course
and speed into the Negdren sector.

USS Horizon

The Horizon gathers crew and installs the colonisation mission pod required
for the evacuation of an endangered Juun colony. Departure is impending.

Outpost 721

Command crew has been selected. Material and construction crew are getting
underway to the Nedrex system.
