weapons control mechanism. Without this, even if instrumentation showed the 
weapons as ready, they cannot be fired. After Kathy successfully finishes 
this task she notices that Nova'Song is attacked by the black P'ronflrr'ecx 
ooze.
Meanwhile, Captain Burke and his team of HORIZON crewmembers and Marines, 
are beamed over to the bridge of the HORIZON and find themselves ankle deep 
in the same foul ooze.
