Captain Burke spends a quiet moment with his baby daughter Cassandra.
He and his wife Kathy were surprised when they first found out about
Cassandra's strong empathic powers. LtCmdr. Nova'Song can act as a
kind of conduit between the young girl and her parents.

Professor Arahan, the director of the Woodland Foundation's Cocoon
Department, comes aboard the Horizon to join the crew in their search
of the Foundation's research team on Athel Loren II. Burke leads him
to the bridge, where LtCmdr. 'n Galeda tells him all about the ship's
science operations and the Augur array. They also discuss what might
have happened to the research team. LtCmdr. Einicrox takes some
precautions to ensure Arahan's safety throughout the mission.

Lt<jg> Greyhawk is slowly getting to know the ship and the crew. He
settles down for a good night sleep after an exhausting day.
