Einicrox and their team advance to the Inquisition prison where a Vulcan crew member from the Chupacabra is being held. O'Brady bluffs his way through and receives custody of the Vulcan, who is very badly injured. O'Brady is especially shocked to see they cut the tips of his ears. Einicrox exacts some revenge on those responsible before taking the Vulcan and heading back to the Horizon. High Priest Yaotl interrogates Lt. 'n Galeda and his team. They pretend to be nothing more but simple farmers, but Yaotl doesn't believe them. He stabs ethnologist Lt. Mendez with a knife and tells the others they will speak to the gods for him, or be killed. Captain Burke and LtCmdr. Nova'Song monitor events from the Horizon. Nova'Song beams down, appearing to the Aztecs as they imagined one of their gods would and telepathically telling them she has come to take her "children". She lifts Mendez from the ground by telekinesis and he is beamed to the ship, stunning Yaotl, who in truth had never really believed in the gods. 'n Galeda takes charge of the situation, getting Yaotl to show him to the lifepods from the Chupacabra. They are beamed up, and shortly later, so are 'n Galeda and his team. More teams are returning, all successful at either destroying wreckage from the Chupacabra or bringing its crew to safety. Mendez is treated in sickbay. Burke is contacted telepathically by what appears to be his daughter looking for him from the 25th century. Ensign B'etor Hunt of the ops department suggests they shut down as much of the ship's systems as possible to preserve power, as they have no idea how long they will have to remain in the 15th century. Burke only agrees to a small extent. Ambassador Pendar is working on another plan to lay his hands on Federation technology, but first he has to regain some of Burke's trust. He has one of his aides start a fire to draw attention away from the increased power usage due to his activating some of their own systems. Burke has the Kourosans moved to different quarters while the cause of the fire is investigated. LtCmdr. Nova'Song returns to the ship. The Kourosans are moved to different quarters following the staged fire and Ambassador Pendar goes to Captain Burke to discuss what happened. In an attempt to regain some trust, Pendar offers to help the away team in Florence, Italy, which has run into trouble. The Chupacabra crew member stranded there is altering history by providing the city's leader with gold, presumably from a replicator as yet undetected by the Horizon's sensors. Burke tells Lts. Einicrox and 'n Galeda to investigate Pendar's suggestions. Nova'Song doesn't trust the ambassador; she can't sense much from him at all. Pendar recognized her species and hopes her telepathic abilities won't foil his plans. ************************************************* ************************** Condor Squadron Commander ************************** Branch Admiral Earle Hayes. ************************** ***************** DS101 CO: Captain Alyza GM: Eddie ***************** NO REPORT SUBMITTED ************************ ************************************ USS NIGHTINGALE CO: Captain Pol Canon GM: Theunis ************************************** ********************************************************** NO REPORT SUBMITTED ************************************ USS YEAGER CO: Commander Rudolf Fischer GM: David ************************************ After the Boarding party has been transported to the Korousans ship they get caught in a firefight. Dr Hemux is transported back to the Yeager where he is worried about the captain but needs to get to sickbay to be treated from a transformation of his hemoglobin oxygen-nitrogen exchange system to one that processes oxygen-argon by the Kourosans. The team of Lt De Boer is fighting a way through the Midgard as they find out the ship is or being sabotaged or set to selfdestruct. Any way it will go Ka-Boom soon. Lucky for De Boer and his team they are, just in time, beamed back to the Yeager again withs ome help from Ephor Crossus. While the Yeager had the shields of the Dracar offline Kovan and Captain Fisher were beamed to Kovan's ship, the KMS Jormungand that was hidden down under the surface of Pangaea. As soon as Fisher and Kovan are on board of the vessel they exit there hiding - place and prepared an attack on the Yeager and the Dracar. Soon it turns out Kovan has, almost impossible accurate, information about the Yeagers construction and defences. He is able to hit the Yeager in his first pass by and damage the Yeager rather seriously. In the following dog-fight it turns out the combined forces of the Yeager adn Dracar are a match to the . and hit the Jormungand. Lt Hardin asks Dr hemux for advice on the situation. Hemux wonders why she does so but gives his opinion, being that they need to convince Kovan their is no more advantage in a continuous attack, the only question is : how will they do so ? ***************************************************** *****************************************************
