O'Connor ********************************************************* Fleet Executive Officer ~ Admiral Tando Landi ********************************************************* **************************** Beaver Squadron Commander **************************** (currently vacant) **************************** ****************** USS HORIZON CO: Captain James Burke GM: Ruud Visser ****************** ******************* Lt O'Brady tells Captain Burke about his encounter with the real Bordaq. Despite all the precautions taken to ensure Lt O'Leary's safety, Lt. Einicrox remains afraid something will happen. The fact that she still doesn't know what O'Brady is up to doesn't make her feel any better. Burke had her restore O'Brady's command codes, but even though Burke seems to trust O'Brady, Einicrox does not. Later that day, she talks with O'Leary about who might have attacked her. O'Leary doesn't think it was anyone from the Horizon. The Horizon continues to gather data on the double neutron star system as they get closer. Navigation will be difficult because of the intense gravity waves. O'Brady suggests taking non-essential systems, including weapons, offline to have more power for the inertial dampeners and structural integrity fields. Lt 'n Galeda gives an update on the current state of the neutron stars. They will merge in little over three hours. There is still no sign of the USS Chupacabra, but the crew does pick up a message buoy outside the system. It is beamed aboard and the crew begins to analyze its contents, which includes several log entries from the Chupacabra's CSciO, Lt. Darwin. A rogue gravitational field, dubbed a bumper, nearly destroyed the ship as they were gathering data on the stars, but Captain Forsyth and the ship's pilot avoided a disaster. Burke receives a message from Admiral Bennett, announcing the arrival of the Kourosan Ambassador Pendar. Starfleet is trying to establish peaceful relations with the Kourosans, following a rather violent first contact on DS101 about a year ago. Meanwhile on the bridge, O'Leary plots a course through the system to search for the Chupacabra. ************************************************* ************************** Condor Squadron Commander ************************** Branch Admiral Earle Hayes. ************************** ***************** DS101 CO: Captain Alyza GM: Eddie ***************** USS CURIE: As the crew recovers from their experiences on Chemalyev, the CURIE heads to and arrives to the planet of Arcane III. N'Borga and T'al have a misunderstanding during the mission briefing that causes huge amounts of tension, but that is made up as the officers descend to the planet's surface. DS101: Moreg tries to determine who out of the Pakleds and the Juun man requested the box originally. Ta'vern (ironically?) walks into a bar, rapidly consumes 4 bloodwines and heads off to look for the currently distressed shopkeeper. The angry Klingon rapidly takes an energy weapon shot and breaks a Pakled's arm as Security personnel intervene. Moreg gets marched down to Security Central to "discuss" the events, and is made to bring the seemingly innocuous box. Arcane III: During the first hour, the away team found little more than 20 year old pottery remains from the primitive civilisation currently inhabiting the planet. However, T'al's log was cut short by a shout from one of his officers. They had found something that looked similar to a Klingon ritual knife, or possibly a D'Katang, but it was subtly different. It turns out that the knife was of Andorian origin. At that point, the energy reading returns; the reading was similar to that of a rematerialised object. The energy signature came from a pile of boulders, and from there they find a Vulcan ritual knife. Confusion deepens further still when the remains of a Danube-class runabout is found, apparently from the CURIE and containing the bodies of T'al and N'Borga. However, the bodies seem to be mirror images of the original Lts... ************************ ************************************ USS NIGHTINGALE CO: Captain Pol Canon GM: Theunis ************************************** ********************************************************** NO REPORT SUBMITTED ************************************ USS YEAGER CO: Commander Rudolf Fischer GM: David ************************************ While the away teams down ot the planet-side are busy with the dinosaurs, Ensign Galzia detects an odd reading on the sensors emerging at the outer edge of the planetary system. Moments after detecting a unknown missile is launched from the direction where the unknown object is detected. As the Yeager is dealing with the missile, Lt Lan'Tzu is abducted by unknown aliens and forced to enter a large cave. Minutes later Lt Thull and John Doe are also captured and kept prisoner by the unknown aliens.. In the Cargobay the EMH takes care of the extraction of debris from the tagged and beamed a board dinosaurs. Xixx is clearly not comfortable around the EMH and treats it as meanly a program while the EMH prefers to be treated as a real doctor. AS if the situation at the surface is not bad enough with some crewmembers capture the Yeager itself is hit by the missile fired upon it. While being an unknown type of missile it hits the ship with a mixture of explosion and radiation and knocks out a large part of the aft shields. Ensign Fred McKitterick, in command of the Engineering warns Captain Fisher that another hit in the ships critical section like the bridge or engineering sections might cause even a warp - core overload. The new FO and Helmswoman Hazel Hardin manages to triangulate the position of the unkown, cloaked vessel and returns fire with assistance of Aleem'ok. Even hit by the Yeager the unknown vessel refuses to respond to Fishers hailings. In reaction Captain fisher pulls out some tricks out his sleeve himself and manages to hit the ship with a quantum torpedo making the ship drop it's cloak. The ships turns out to be a Kourosan vessel wich claims Pangaea II as Kourosan territory. AS fisher refuses to accept this claim the Kourosans reveal they have captured at least a part of the way teams. Down at the Pangaea surface Tobruk is overwhelmed by the Kourosans, struck rather badly and left behind for dead. Lucky for him he was only unconscious and is now trying to make up a plan to rescue the others. Fisher, Hazel and Galzia come up with a risky plan to use a adjusted probe that will drop in the Pangaea atmosphere, pick up any lifesigns and send the coordinates to the transporters who then can beam any person found on board of the Yeager. The probe detects several hundreds of people at the surface and the Yeager crew is able to beam 70 Kourosans to the Yeager. With these hold prisoner Fisher has now a new hand of cards to negotiate with the Kourosan captain. By this action the Kourosans Captain has lost the locations of many of his own crew down at the planet and, more important , the location of the captured away teams. Even so he is bluffing with Fisher and pretends not to care about the seventy captured Kourosans. ***************************************************** ***************************************************** Respectfully Submitted Don Fleet GM fleetgm-put the at symbol here -yahoogroups -put a dot here - com
