She "convinces" Arkanis to let her up front, into the secret spaces, by telling him about the interior design and layout, promising to tell him how she knows about it later. But Arkanis reminds her that all actions have reactions in the end, a fact that Epona knows but is not taking into account every time she does something not by the book. The Gironan First Minister fakes happiness about the Telmarc arrival and persuades them to lower the shields to transport the Gironans to the ships. This gives opportunity to the HORIZON to take out the Telmarc weapons- and shield systems, making them unusable for the Telmarc. Some from the Gironan Defence Forces even board the Telmarc ships. Kallesin finds an elegant solution to the removal of the Telmarc crew from the ships by transporting them to an island off the coast, without their weapons of course. The Telmarc fleet fires on and destroys a couple of Telmarc ships, some of them not offloaded, to make them pay for all they have done to the Gironans. Captain Burke convinces them to let some ships intact to examine them further but the First Minister wants to try and execute the prisoners of war on the island. Burke tricks her into refraining from that with the Borg device he left on the planet, taking out planetary defence and communications systems for some moments. He also makes sure representatives from the Federations Red Cross and the Juun Relief Agency will arrive to take care of the prisoners. With the HORIZON on her way back to Starbase OMEGA, Vymora wonders about Kallesin either replicating roses secretly or stealing them from the arboretrum while making a deal with a Ferengi names Mock about something not revealed, yet, in secret as well. ************************************************* ************************** Condor Squadron Commander ************************** Branch Admiral Earle Hayes. ************************** ***************** DS101 CO: Captain Alyza GM: Don ***************** ************************ The CURIE makes rendevouz with the Bolian freighter that had been sending the distress call. Initial scans of the freighter fail to show any positive life signs. The freighter's systems are on backup with minimal power levels. No structural damage to the freighter is evident. Further investigation determines that the freighter, named the BMS NEMAX, was reported missing from the Gia Sector three years previously. T'al, Burton, N'Borga, and Brooks gather their equipment and are beam over to the NEMAX. The first sign of anything unusual is an almost silent 'click' and a whisper. T'al turns towards the whisper, when he turns back to his crewmates he finds himself alone. N'Borga finds himself alone in NEMAX's engineering room. Another 'click' and he finds himself in the company of five Bolians... who are very much alive and talking. They are just not talking to N'Borga, in fact they don't even appear aware of his presence. N'Borga checks his tricorder and discovers that the Bolians are living backwards through time. Burton and Brooks are able to restore main power to the NEMAX. One by one they continue to bring the ship's major systems on-line. Brooks examines the hatch to the matter/anti-matter reaction chamber and finds that they have been fused shut, from inside the chamber. Another 'click' and now the Bolian are aware of N'Borga's sudden presence. As N'Borga is explaining, there is another 'click' and he finds himself standing in the dark beside T'al. N'Borga tells T'al of his recent experience. After some discussion they come to the theory that the Bolian crew are trapped in another timeframe. Another time 'click' and T'al finds himself observing a Bolian studying a three-meter tall stone-like object. The object falls from its resting place, shatters into green, sparkling dust. Another 'click' and T'al is back with Lucas. Convinced that he has found the cause of the time-shifts, T'al and N'Borga proceed with the search for a solution on NEMAX's Bridge. Brooks and Burton discover high levels of Tetryon Particls inside the M/AM reaction chamber. Tetryon particles are associated with cloaking devices, but usually only exist inside of subspace. Meanwhile back on the CURIE, they are having difficulty maintaining a transporter lock on the Away Team. Suddenly the NEMAX appears to waver and then vanishes. Brooks discovers that there is a greem powder inside NEMAX's warp core. T'al tries to communicate with the CURIE to report the Away Team's status, but gets no response. With a little work N'Borga is able to get NEMAX's view screen functioning and able to display a view from outside the ship. Not only has the CURIE disappeared from view, there were no stars. ************************************ USS NIGHTINGALE CO: Captain Pol Canon GM: Doug ************************************** As the discussion continues at the Swamp the dangers of the Mineral Dissolvent comes to light. Patton, who was send to the colony Deadwood to evacuate the colony, saw at first hand what the waste materials of the dissolvent could do to humanoid live. The greed of a mining conglomerate there turned a peaceful world in dead trap were human live could only be sustained for 16 hours tops when unprotected. Even so the conglomerate was only fined and some lower functionaries were fired at the end. The only thing positive out of the story was that the dissolvent was banned by Federation Regulations. Ensign Nim Lister who has a lot of experience with mining then explains that the material is called Nadrixium and needs to be synthesized before use. And could only be activated by a chemical called N-34. Both chemicals can only be made in a controlled environment of a production facility/ This leads to the conclusion that there must be either shipments going to the planet or a productions facility on site. But why do they need this hazardous mining material? To find something in a hurry? Ensign Lister offers to find out and so the discussion seems to be getting to an end as a course of action seems to be found. ************************************ USS YEAGER CO: Commander Rudolf Fischer ************************************ NO REPORT SUBMITTED ***************************************************** ***************************************************** Respectfully Submitted Don Fleet GM fleetgm-put the at symbol here -yahoogroups -put a dot here - com
