At the staff meeting the next day, Seldon adds her thoughts to captain
James Burke's rundown of the upcoming mission. Later, she oversees the
exchange of the Augur sensor pod in favour of a general weapons pod.

reads them the 'riot act'.  Afterwards he informs them that the ATHENE
is getting a new Chief Secuirty Officer and they will be moving to
asstCSO.  Ens Amadrene Pellew, half-Human-half-Orion, arrives to take
over the Chief Flight Control Officer position.  Soon afterward Ens
Sovak, a Vulcan,  arrives as CSO.

the robotic ferret.  He and Ch'iv Ss conclude that these are being used
to gather information from the HERMES.  And it looks like the Juun

On the second planetoid they get suspicious readings and Mrell,McKinnley
and Stuart get in to investigate.  Meanwhile Canon gets a personal
message from the Hiraku.

Ens Naalauilos takes night watch duty.  She finds a footprint in the
mud, likely their missing comm officer.  During the night the system
storm moves on.  Next morning she has use of her tricorder, although
with very limited range and is able to find edible plants for breakfast.
After breakfast, the decision has to be made whether or not to follow
the footprints.
