When told he just missed CSO Mercedes McCarter, he begins thinking his feelings for her are already grist for the rumor mill. He leaves quickly, not in the best frame of mind to see to his later visitors. CSciO Jur Lehron's desperate petition to his fiance, aCO/FO Miranda Sands, flusters her a bit and she quickly dismisses the CEO and other engineers she was meeting with to find out why he is so distressed. Jur begs her to marry him NOW (if not sooner), but she points out that there is no one available onboard who is qualified. When she suggests getting married as soon as they arrive at OMEGA, he protests that there will be no time to make wedding arrangements. She counters that with the proposition that her friend Will DiCaprio, Jur's parents, and her uncle there on HAMILTON can get all the neccessities and do all the coordinating. Startled, he asks if that is what she wants. When she replies that it is, he answers that that is the way it is going to be, then. Ensign Sertek, newly assigned to the HAMILTON, first has a time-travel accidentin which his shuttle goes into D-warp travelling toward his new ship but winds up crashing on 21st century Earth. He is occupied initially by the need to stabalize the pilot, then by his own injuries. After these immediate needs are met he then surveys the damage to the warp engines and begins work on them. Just as the danger of breaking the Temporal Directive is about to averted, a young inquisitive investigating is so shocked by Sertek's appearance that he falls badly while backing up and Sertek has to come to his rescue as well. The young human's injuries are such that only a complete merging of their minds will allow him to live and Sertek does this. Unfortunately, the fellow regains consciousness a bit too early for his own good and starts pushing buttons to stop Sertek when he learns the SF officer is taking him to a nearby hospital. By some fluke, he manages to activate the D-warp engines and the shuttle leaps forward emerging once again into a collision situation. Sertek manages to pull up this time, apparently having had his fill of crunches for that day, having nearly run into the HAMILTON. Naturally, the ship asks if they are in need of assistance. As if coming out of warp on a near collision course wasn't enough, the newly arrived CMO, Ensign Sertek, continues to unintentionally liven things on the USS HAMILTON. The pilot and a teen Earth pseudo-stowaway are both in need of medical attention and first CSO Mercedes McCarter then FO Miranda Sands listen half-disbelieving to his story. It seems their new doctor started his adventures early with a D-warp malfunction that flung him to a crash landing on a milennia past Earth. The pilot was severely injured in the 'landing' and Sertek had to stabilize him before checking the shuttle's status. When he did get to repairing the warp engines, a curious local caught a glimpse of him and, in shock at his --very-- alien appearance, misstepped near a ledge, tumbling down and sustaining a life-threatening head injury. Sertek then performed an obscure mindmeld treatment to save his life and was going to deliver him to the nearest native medical facility when the boy freaked out, not wanting to go to the hospital for some reason, and began pushing buttons. By chance, he pressed several in the correct order to send the shuttle careening back into space. The D-warp engaged at the appropriate moment, taking them all back to the original period, but apparently caused further harm to the two injured. The unintended passenger flipped his lid immediately and was sedated. The pilot, who remained unconscious until a while after being transported to Sickbay, became psychotic, seizing a knife and attempting to stab a number of people. He succeeded in plunging the weapon into their stowaway, then escapes into the ship's passageways. He is tracked primarily by bystanders until he runs into CNS Logaan Woods in front of the shuttlebay doors, the pilot's objective. Logaan attempts to delay him and remain in one piece by speaking soothingly, trying to find out why the man is so desperate and agitated. When the security team arrives, his lulled expression returns to one of demented rage and the man leaps forward to attack Logaan!! ********* USS SAGAN ********* NO REPORT SUBMITTED/CURRENTLY DRY-DOCKED **************************** Beaver Squadron Commander **************************** (currently vacant) **************************** ****************** USS HORIZON CO: LtCmdr James Burke GM: Ruud Visser ****************** The sensors pick up a broadcast from a large satellite orbiting Jerjoye IV. The broadcast contains an audio recording from someone aboard the satellite, but at this distance the crew cannot say if the speaker is still alive. An investigation starts. FO Bordaq prepares an away team to investigate Pri-Sat. CMO Electra Threin gathers what she think she'll need, although she'd like to take much more with her than she can carry. Valarn Taya, the security department's young and eager beta shift lead, accompanies CSO Kor. CNS Stan the Man and CEO Kuaar will also come along. On the bridge, OPS D'Art Storm tries his best to improve the sensor output and accuracy. It doesn't help that professor Chosky seems to want all the ship's sensor arrays for himself. Meanwhile on SB Saphire, HQ for Emerald Fleet, Admiral Tergin has settled into a happy life together with his partner Or'Nonya. They both miss the Horizon, making it that much more enjoyable to receive some news from their old friends every now and then. ****************** USS ATHENE ****************** NO REPORT SUBMITTED/CURRENTLY DRY-DOCKED ******************************** USS HERMES CO: Commander Michael J. Halifax Report Submitted by: EJ ******************************** The Fleet Admiral commissions J'eran as acting CO of the USS HERMES as well as promotes her to Lt.. Lt. Pavis dal Starian was commissioned at the ship's FO. Both make their way to the vessel and begin to meet with the crew. Security has just finished a detailed training simulation series. Their responces are getting better but they can still use a bit more work. N'Borga begins to feel like he is missing something, and he later realizes it is because he misses his buddy Stan who was granted a full position on another ship as CNS. Several crew members make their way to the new CO to present Departmental Reports. N'Borga and Ss are moving closer to discovering what the black sphere is all about and if it contains data that can be eventually decoded. ************************** Condor Squadron Commander ************************** Branch Admiral Aleksi Kara ************************** ***************** DS101 CO: Captain Alyza GM: Don Ratliff ***************** The Sperians are evicted from the station, less one murder suspect. Capt Alyza feels that Starfleet cannot interfere with the Sperians cultural development, as stated in the Prime Directive. The Sperianshead for Dergrad space, a place with decidedly less tolerance for their agenda. Cmdr Roberts joins Alyza at lunch. He had requested that the Federation waive his exile from Sector 001, hoping that such a waiver would be the first step in reconciling with Kris and Michael. But the request is denied. Azteca mistakenly interpets an innocent encounter between Fischer and Hunter Etori. She feels that Fischer has betrayed her Love. She grabs a table-knife and attacks Fischer. Two Security officers step in and disarm her. Fischer looks at Azteca's unconscious body and sees a vision of a bloody body on bloodstained sheets. Still shaken from the vision, Fischer allows Hunter to guide him to Sickbay. ************************** USS JOHN GLENN CO: Captain Richard Murphy ************************** ********************************** USS NIGHTINGALE CO: Commander Pol Canon GM: Marc Boon ********************************** NO REPORT SUBMITTED **********************************************************
