He first takes FO Miranda Sands aside to prep her to take over for him while he is gone, then sends a notice to each of the senior staff. CSO Mercedes McCarter, CMO Chip, and their team have already departed and might not be back until after Judah has gone, but CEO Chandler T'krn-McCarter comes to his readyroom to thank him for all that he has already done for them and wish him well. Before the first team departed for the planet, Chandler had a dream that her pregnancy was 3 months further along and Chip removed her from the Away Mission on medical grounds. In reality, he does drop by and recommend she stay behind, but she insists upon going since she feels fine and scanning buildings is hardly a stressful duty. The dream does leave her a bit unsettled when it's time for her team to beam down, though. CNS Logaan Woods and CSciO Jur Lehron make it down safely in their shuttle, though Logaan dislikes the bumpy ride. They are greeted warmly before their meeting with the Prime Minister. With the honor guard standing watch and the sumptuous dress of the welcoming party, it looks like they may be the ones who drew the most posh assignment. While Miranda is familiarizing herself with the extra responsibilities that will be landing in her lap, they pick up a set of human lifesigns heading hastily away from the settlement. Closer scan manages to capture fairly good pictures of the woman's face and Miranda takes them in for the captain to look at. She's very familiar looking. Looks exactly like Minuar Calvert, the Arbitrator they are supposed to be rescuing. After promising to Judah that she will have the transporter room keep a lock on her the whole time she is dirtside so the senior staff available isn't reduced to one ensign, she goes down to intercept the fleeing human. Once in earshot, Miranda calls "Miss Calvert?" and the human woman turns toward her(----- To Be Continued -----) ********* USS SAGAN ********* NO REPORT SUBMITTED/CURRENTLY DRY-DOCKED **************************** Beaver Squadron Commander **************************** (currently vacant) **************************** ****************** USS HORIZON CO: LtCmdr James Burke GM: Ruud Visser ****************** Through logical deduction and perhaps some lucky guesses, the crew makes contact with the aliens inside the "teardrop". On a first glance, they appear very friendly, just as curious about the Horizon as the Horizon about them. Things change when CSO Kor hears the aliens might be covertly accessing the main computer core. Kor informs the captain. ****************** USS ATHENE ****************** NO REPORT SUBMITTED/CURRENTLY DRY-DOCKED ******************************** USS HERMES CO: Commander Michael J. LtCmdr Stuart gets himself captured by those in league with whoever is behind the nefarious actions of TASMANIA's crew. On the NIGHTINGALE injured from the TASMANIA are transported to Sickbay. It is suspected that TASMANIA's Captain, Harald Shields, is simply getting rid of those who are opposed to his plan. Thayer and Jake discover that some of the injured are suffering from Federation phaser wounds. Fischer, Kelen, and others track TASMANIA's missing warp core into the forest. Sensor readings lead to a frozen lake, a lake newly made when the core exploded. Before they could investigate further, they are attacked by a Federation shuttlecraft. Fischer calls for help from the CURIE. ************************** USS JOHN GLENN CO: Captain Richard Murphy ************************** NO REPORT SUBMITTED ********************************** ********************************** **********************************************************
