Fleet Sitrep for SD 14.0127 Cocoon Fleet News Service www.holoworld-startrek.org ********************************************************* Fleet Commanding Officer ~ Fleet Admiral Erin M. O'Connor ********************************************************* Fleet Executive Officer ~ Admiral Ardeous Brockman ********************************************************* *************************** Antelope Squadron Commander *************************** (currently vacant) *************************** *********** USS ARTEMIS *********** NO REPORT SUBMITTED/CURRENTLY DRY-DOCKED *************************** USS HAMILTON CO: Captain Judah Gibbons GM: Janet Gist *************************** After being ordered to Sickbay by CO Judah Gibbons, FO Miranda Sands goes determined only to stay there long enough so she can say she went as ordered. She didn't plan on falling asleep. Her fiance, CSciO Jur Lehron, arrives very shortly to find out what happened but gets run off seconds later by one of the nurses. He sneaks back in behind a delivery of clean laundry to talk about their wedding plans. He suggests getting hitched in the next few days while they are on shore leave. He already organized the music and food and got a ring. Before he can get her used to the idea, the announcement/invitation he arranged is broadcast inviting the entire HAMILTON crew to the wedding. Jur apologizes for having gotten overexcited and says they can change whatever she wants to, then he takes off because the nurse from earlier has spotted him. Miranda has some trouble with the nurse also when she tries to leave to chase down Jur. When Miranda won't just lay still like a good patient, the hard-nosednurse tells her she has 3 minutes before CMO Chip will be informed of her departure. Miranda quickly finds Jur sitting against the wall just outside Sickbay. She lets him know they have a limited amount of time before she is ratted on, so he suggests using the CNS's office, who is on R & R, to discuss their arrangements. Once they settle into the borrowed room, Miranda says his music and food arrangements are fine, but she wanted a small wedding and he invited the entire crew. Jur promises to send a message asking everyone to wait for further announcements. With that settled, Jur asks her to go back to Sickbay and she answers by reminding him of what she says about doctors. After she falls asleep, Dr. Ian Rogers arrives to take her back and Jur gets him to agree to say he(Jur) was protesting all the way back to Sickbay so he won't get in trouble with Miranda. ********* USS SAGAN ********* NO REPORT SUBMITTED/CURRENTLY DRY-DOCKED **************************** Beaver Squadron Commander **************************** Branch Admiral Cathal Aguiar **************************** ****************** USS HORIZON CO: Captain Tergin GM: Ruud Visser ****************** While the lights are out in sickbay due to the computer virus, CMO Bill Patton collapses on the floor due to the flu virus. Ensign Kathy Rhule hopes he'll recover quickly, something made difficult by the inoperative computer. ****************** USS ATHENE ****************** NO REPORT SUBMITTED/CURRENTLY DRY-DOCKED ******************************** USS HERMES CO: Commander Michael J. Halifax GM: Grayham Tyler ******************************** The Court Marshall has started, but there are queries about what is bound to happen with the powers that be, with some concerns that this trial is not in the hands of the lawyers, as it turns out Admiral Brockman is being blackmailed to set up the trial so the Rentarian would loose no matter what happen. The rest of the Hermes crew, who is not present at the trial, are still enjoying a few drinks in the Bar. ************************** Condor Squadron Commander ************************** Branch Admiral Aleksi Kara ************************** ***************** DS101 CO: Captain Alyza GM: Don Ratliff ***************** The Welcome Home Party continues. Ambassador Grayson even makes an appearance, a bit miffed that he was not personally invited. Dryden proposes marriage to Marta, who faints dead away from the surprise. Roberts returns to the LEGACY and discovers Kris Olsen unconscious. Before he can react he is hit by a stun blast. Within minutes the LEGACY is moving away from its docking port and does not respond to hails. The LEGACY fires on the time ship TRAX and disappears into warp. The LEGACY, Roberts, and four Vurtedions has been hijacked towards Dergrad space. The Vurtedion hijackers are intent on attacking the Dergrad's central government in reprisal for actions during the previous war. Their plan includes laying the blame for the attack at Roberts' feet. Meanwhile back at DS 101, repairs on TRAX begin at a frantic pace. ************************** USS JOHN GLENN CO: Captain Richard Murphy ************************** NO REPORT SUBMITTED ********************************** USS NIGHTINGALE CO: Commander Pol Canon GM: Mistie Smith (SitRep by Don Ratliff) ********************************** The Future Stuart drops off a Time-Mail pouch with Commander Canon and, with the rest of the Future Crew, returns to his own time. The Array is caught in the temporal back-wash and sent seven-hundred years into the past to await discovery by the Helnai. Commander Canon receives orders from Star Fleet Command and the Federation President to return to DS 101 and report to Captain Alyza. Afterwards command of the NIGHTINGALE will be given, temporarily, to FO Stuart. Exactly what is behind these new orders is open to speculation. Monitoring of the Helna System is turned over to the USS YORKTOWN and the NIGHTINGALE leaves for DS 101. Canon gives Doctor McCuen new information about a possible treatment for Kennala's paralyzing injury. ***************************************************************** Cocoon Fleet Situation Intelligence Report (by Cmdr Seth Forster) ***************************************************************** UPDATED SD 13.0615 Na'stiu and Juun relations continue to be tense without progress from assigned diplomatic teams. Reports of Talonid invasion into the Cocoon have been determined to be false. The USS JOHN GLENN has reportedly found debris from the destruction of the USS COCHRANE. Search for survivors continues, but none have been found at this time. ***************************************************** Amgine Sector and Andromeda Report (by Lt. Alac Nond) ***************************************************** OP 108 activity has begun increasing with the completion of the orbital docking platform. Construction has begun on several new ships at the newly contstructed shipyards there. In addition, the Andromeda wormhole has shown no signs of unusual behavior in recent months, causing a return of commerce to the area. Peaceful cooperation with races in the Amgine Sector continue to increase in the aftermath of the Noo'Ach Peace and Trade Conference. Terrorist attacks continue to plague Starfleet ships in the Andromeda Galaxy. Purist terrorist cells, devoted to ridding Andromeda of all Federation presence, have jeopardized the entrance of Trasior into the Federation. Negotiators on Trasior report that the Trasien council is considering withdrawing their application for membership, while various attacks and disappearances are being investigated both by Trasien Security and by Starfleet. ***************************************** Beyond the Portal (by LtCmdr. Eli Meyman) ***************************************** Recent troop movements along Cardassia's border with Breen space has sparked some interest in the Union's possible plans. With relations still cold from the war, no official inquiries have been made, and no investigation is planned. Betazoid Council chairman Beyard Mali and Alpha Centauran Council chairwoman Vhesha P'Nehbuddar have announced plans to begin a massive cultural exchange between their two peoples, including cultural centers on each of the two race's home planets. The cultural centers will be primarily devoted to exploration of similarities between the two cultures and will include expositions on the theoretical genetic links between Alpha Centaurans and Betazoids. Three suspected members of the Orion Syndicate were indicted today at a Federation Council hearing. Although the Orion Syndicate has been careful in the past to remain outside of Federation jurisdiction, the recent acceptance of Vermanda III into the UFP has expanded StarFleet presence into a previously unmoderated area, heavily used by Syndicate trafficking. StarFleet expects no retaliation, but also no more arrests, as the Syndicate has most likely changed their operations routes. **********************************************************
