Melody advices him to just talk to Kathy to see how see feels about him. Later, Patton delivers the baby of his assistant, Dr. T'Salek - it's a healthy boy. Vhesha P'Nehbuddar, mother of the Horizon's previous FO, gets the Federation President to agree to an investigation of Captain Tergin. Reason is the high number of FOs and, more importantly, the way each of them left the position, since Tergin took command of the Horizon. Cmdr. Jack Haynes, another former FO, accompanies P'Nehbuddar on her investigation. Garal, a Klingon woman with a grudge on Haynes, has waited for his return to the Horizon for years. She has salvaged the Horizon's discarded stardrive section to take her revenge. FCO Jarek Malaar takes his baby daughter to sickbay for a visit to T'Salek's son. When he returns to his quarters, he finds his wife being overly relieved to see him. It seems he went missing from the ship for seven hours between leaving sickbay and entering his quarters, but he has no memory of such an event. CNS Bordaq is visited by what most likely is a manifestation of the Nurec-Talis, a sort of deity, but without the usual temporal shift accompanying previous encounters. The Nurec-Talis, in the form of Bordaq's predecessor Jay McMadeth, offer him to guide him on his path of life. Patton is unable to give Bordaq a good explanation for the encounter. SpecOpsXO Nathan Cady has a talk with Bordaq, mainly about how he fits in with the rest of the SpecOps team, and learns a thing or two about himself in the process. On Malvedia, FO Leyson Ayden undergoes surgery to get rid of his cybernetics. When he wakes up, he's overjoyed to find he has lips and can taste food again. ****************** USS ATHENE ****************** NO REPORT SUBMITTED/CURRENTLY DRY-DOCKED ******************************** USS HERMES CO: Commander Michael J. Halifax GM: Grayham Tyler ******************************** With the USS MISSOURI accompanying the USS HERMES to the Court Marshal of Lt. Qoensal the Defence Lawyer Comdr. Hicks, and her assistant Lt.jg Schmidt set out to meet with the Hermes, but don't exactly make their destination, with the only survivor, being the assistant. Just as the two new crew members board the Hermes, it doesn't take long before the CO puts them straight to work, investigating the cause of why the D-Warp shuttle, the USS TYNE, was destroyed, with Ensign Ss discovering that the ship was attacked by an energy weapon, and what may seem to be lucky for the assistant Nadine Schimdt as investigations show that the attack wasn't an organized assault, but the attack did infact kill Qoensal's defence lawyer, Commander Hicks. With the news that she had died in the attack, Nadine Schimdt stepped up to take the task, of defending the Rentarian StarFleet Officer. ************************** Condor Squadron Commander ************************** Branch Admiral Aleksi Kara ************************** ***************** DS101 CO: Captain Alyza GM: Don Ratliff ***************** DS 101's Senior Staff is trapped in time. 1841. Earth. Wisconsin. United States of America. Fischer, miniaturized to the size of the Statue, is lead by the Statue (who now is animated, living) in a tunnel complex beneath the tree. He is taken to meet the Queen of this species. The new beings are know as the Cingi, not quiet plants... not quiet animal. The originated in Cocoon space, on one of the Triple Planets involved in the most recent mission. The Crew of DS 101 were brought to Earth to help the Cingi return. The Cingi were transported to Earth some time ago. They used the same machines in a one-way operation to summon DS 101's crew. CNS Kersh is next to be miniaturized. Meanwhile back on DS 101, Kris and the time-ship Trax have retrieved a device that should restore the program in Roberts mind to its original configuration. The disappearance to DS 101's Senior Staff has, by now, become common knowledge. Trax believes that he will be able to communicate with the missing Crew, but will not be able to return them to their correct Time. ************************** USS JOHN GLENN CO: Captain Richard Murphy ************************** NO REPORT SUBMITTED ********************************** USS NIGHTINGALE CO: Lieutenant-Commander Pol Canon GM: Mistie Smith ********************************** NO REPORT SUBMITTED ***************************************************************** Cocoon Fleet Situation Intelligence Report (by Cmdr Seth Forster) ***************************************************************** UPDATED SD 13.0615 Na'stiu and Juun relations continue to be tense without progress from assigned diplomatic teams. Activity has been reported in the Holack sector, despite the Veil's blockage of subspace communication. The USS HERMES has been sent to investigate. Reports of Talonid invasion into the Cocoon have been determined to be false. The USS JOHN GLENN has reportedly found debris from the destruction of the USS COCHRANE. Search for survivors continues, but none have been found at this time. ***************************************************** Amgine Sector and Andromeda Report (by Lt. Alac Nond) ***************************************************** OP 108 activity has begun increasing with the completion of the orbital docking platform. Construction has begun on several new ships at the newly contstructed shipyards there. In addition, the Andromeda wormhole has shown no signs of unusual behavior in recent months, causing a return of commerce to the area. Peaceful cooperation with races in the Amgine Sector continue to increase in the aftermath of the Noo'Ach Peace and Trade Conference. Terrorist attacks continue to plague Starfleet ships in the Andromeda Galaxy. Purist terrorist cells, devoted to ridding Andromeda of all Federation presence, have jeopardized the entrance of Trasior into the Federation. Negotiators on Trasior report that the Trasien council is considering withdrawing their application for membership, while various attacks and disappearances are being investigated both by Trasien Security and by Starfleet. ***************************************** Beyond the Portal (by LtCmdr. Eli Meyman) ***************************************** Recent troop movements along Cardassia's border with Breen space has sparked some interest in the Union's possible plans. With relations still cold from the war, no official inquiries have been made, and no investigation is planned. Betazoid Council chairman Beyard Mali and Alpha Centauran Council chairwoman Vhesha P'Nehbuddar have announced plans to begin a massive cultural exchange between their two peoples, including cultural centers on each of the two race's home planets. The cultural centers will be primarily devoted to exploration of similarities between the two cultures and will include expositions on the theoretical genetic links between Alpha Centaurans and Betazoids. Three suspected members of the Orion Syndicate were indicted today at a Federation Council hearing. Although the Orion Syndicate has been careful in the past to remain outside of Federation jurisdiction, the recent acceptance of Vermanda III into the UFP has expanded StarFleet presence into a previously unmoderated area, heavily used by Syndicate trafficking. StarFleet expects no retaliation, but also no more arrests, as the Syndicate has most likely changed their operations routes. **********************************************************
