O'Connor ********************************************************* Fleet Executive Officer ~ Admiral Anna Karsten ********************************************************* *************************** Antelope Squadron Commander *************************** (currently vacant) *************************** *********** USS ARTEMIS *********** NO REPORT SUBMITTED/CURRENTLY DRY-DOCKED *************************** USS HAMILTON CO: Captain Judah Gibbons GM: Janet Gist *************************** The HAMILTON crew has entirely too much time on their and too many mysteries on their minds as they make their way to the downed COMBINANCE. FCO Tom Slater is having nightmares involving the new SFI guy, the (discharged) mine, CO Judah Gibbons, and FO Miranda Sands. After waking, his mind still won't let go of the mystery of why someone would send a distress call through a mine. CNS Logaan Woods is struggling with his feelings for CSO Mercedes McCarter. He gets half drunk, visits the sim of her family's farm and looks at portraits of her family, heads back to the Lounge for more booze when his thoughts turn to his own past, then finally wanders to his quarters to crash. Meanwhile, Gibbons and Sands finish up their discussion of the database Sands looked over for him and about the SFI OPS, Tim Anderson. When Mercedes arrived as requested, the security officer was added to the short list of those in the know. Later, she returns to the bridge to ask for a word in the ready room and, once in private, hands over a transmission between Anderson and SFI that Security intercepted. After offering to give her captain the original of the message as well, Mercedes gives her initial reaction to the contents of the mysterious database. Mercedes' next stop is Engineering, to thank Chief Johnson for taking Trey McCarter under his wing while he was aboard. Just as their chat is turning toward the COMBINANCE situation, the computer completes its analysis of the distress call and matches the OMEGA data Mercedes was bringing on the COMBINANCE captain, Cmdr Garrison. Neither are from the present or the past, leaving the future and an alternate timeline as possibilities. ********* USS SAGAN ********* NO REPORT SUBMITTED/CURRENTLY DRY-DOCKED **************************** Beaver Squadron Commander **************************** Branch Admiral Cathal Aguiar **************************** ****************** USS HORIZON CO: Captain Tergin GM: Ruud Visser ****************** CMO Bill Patton is very much looking forward to the first cup from his recently acquired coffee maker. Unfortunately, as the sickbay personnel notices by Patton's colourful description of the beverage ("Barnyard mud!"), the taste doesn't quite live up to the expectations created by the aroma. In his ready room, Captain Tergin gives Bordaq a warm welcome as the ship's new counsellor and promotes him to Lieutenant. Later, after a passionate reunion with Or'Nonya, Tergin joins the rest of the senior staff at a dinner with the two visiting agents from Temporal Investigations. On his way to the dinner, Patton encounters a woman he's never seen before. On the doctor, it has about the same effect as a phaser set on high stun. Meanwhile, Lt. Jessica McClure ("Fleet Traveler and General Trouble Maker") and Ambassador Lamina Yrdnabsuh arrive at the Horizon for the upcoming mission. ****************** USS ATHENE ****************** NO REPORT SUBMITTED/CURRENTLY DRY-DOCKED ******************************** USS HERMES CO: Commander Michael J. Halifax GM: Grayham Tyler ******************************** Stuck in darkness and having that lonesome feeling, Ensign Ruby Kennison, (CEO) has started to hear voices, not sure what, who or even if it's her imagination, sarcastically goes along with the orders it explains to her. Suddenly out of the blue the Williams (CNS) started hearing a voice, searched the Bridge, but couldn't recognize the voice with who was currently on the Bridge, she then heard the voice again, which stated quite clearly, "Sydney, It's Ruby". Is Ruby leaning telepathic skills, only the voices she is hearing can answer that. Jynn continued work on a way to control the status of the ship, but with the systems offline and just about all equipment working off life support, he had no other choice than to take that long walk to the computer core as he couldn't get an appropriate reading from the console he was working on. Still stuck on the Runabout, Qoensal (SF Intel) also had no power, and that there was some sort of squeegee, gooey substance on the outer hull of the Runabout, he quickly figured out a way to regain the power as he was able to override the jets and navigate the Runabout manually, but not without first realizing that he was carrying, a very deadly, and explosive combination of chemicals. What will happen next, find out next week on USS HERMES ************************** Condor Squadron Commander ************************** Branch Admiral Aleksi Kara ************************** ***************** DS101 CO: Captain Alyza GM: Don Ratliff ***************** Lt Fischer, now back in control of his actions, encounters a gang of the Sphere's underground movement, demanding the release of the prisoners. He confesses to these people that he was once under the control of 'The Instrument' but not anymore, and was a Star Fleet officer. Under fire from the crowd, Fischer moves himself, his fellow officer, the One, and the underground representatives to a safer position. The meet up with Poynton and his rescue team. All Star Fleet personnel are beamed back aboard the HIKARU. Sensors aboard the HIKARU indicate that the Sphere will destabilize completely within less that 24 hours. Fischer realizes that with the destruction of the Sphere, it's death, if you will; the 'Great Work' is simply the survival of the people on the Sphere. The Sphere was built to transport the three factions of the population to the three worlds of the system. But with civil war raging, the populations are intermingled and the Sphere is not able to separate them well enough for transportation. It was hoping to use the HIKARU and THREE RIVERS to separate the factions. Prevented by the Prime Directive from interfering and separating the populations, Capt Alyza decides to send a message to them about the origin and function of the Sphere. The Sphere breaks-up on schedule. City-by-city, pieces of the Sphere are blasted towards each of the three planets, where the Sphere's inhabitants had once lived. Each city makes a safe landing at its destination. The remains of the Sphere disappears into subspace. The Instrument returns to his body, vacating Fischer's consciousness, and aided by Doctor Poynton is soon up and about again. Foley asked the native Nonac to accompany him back to HIKARU...out of Love she agrees. He manages to smuggle her aboard. Lt dal Starian, OPS, detects her arrival and raises an Intruder Alert. Foley comes up with a plan to temporarily 'hide' the presence of Nonac. Lt Kersh has a heaven-sent experience with Heaven's Bureaucy before being convince by 'Katie' to return to himself. LtCmdr Roberts has an aftereffect caused by the 'weapon' inside his head. ************************** USS JOHN GLENN CO: Captain Richard Murphy ************************** ********************************** USS NIGHTINGALE CO: Lieutenant-Commander Pol Canon GM: Mistie Smith ********************************** ***************************************************************** Cocoon Fleet Situation Intelligence Report (by Cmdr Seth Forster) ***************************************************************** UPDATED SD 13.0615 Na'stiu and Juun relations continue to be tense without progress from assigned diplomatic teams. Activity has been reported in the Holack sector, despite the Veil's blockage of subspace communication. The USS HERMES has been sent to investigate. Reports of Talonid invasion into the Cocoon have been determined to be false. The USS JOHN GLENN has reportedly found debris from the destruction of the USS COCHRANE. Search for survivors continues, but none have been found at this time. ***************************************************** Amgine Sector and Andromeda Report (by Lt. Alac Nond) ***************************************************** OP 108 activity has begun increasing with the completion of the orbital docking platform. Construction has begun on several new ships at the newly contstructed shipyards there. In addition, the Andromeda wormhole has shown no signs of unusual behavior in recent months, causing a return of commerce to the area. Peaceful cooperation with races in the Amgine Sector continue to increase in the aftermath of the Noo'Ach Peace and Trade Conference. Terrorist attacks continue to plague Starfleet ships in the Andromeda Galaxy. Purist terrorist cells, devoted to ridding Andromeda of all Federation presence, have jeopardized the entrance of Trasior into the Federation. Negotiators on Trasior report that the Trasien council is considering withdrawing their application for membership, while various attacks and disappearances are being investigated both by Trasien Security and by Starfleet. ***************************************** Beyond the Portal (by LtCmdr. Eli Meyman) ***************************************** Recent troop movements along Cardassia's border with Breen space has sparked some interest in the Union's possible plans. With relations still cold from the war, no official inquiries have been made, and no investigation is planned. Betazoid Council chairman Beyard Mali and Alpha Centauran Council chairwoman Vhesha P'Nehbuddar have announced plans to begin a massive cultural exchange between their two peoples, including cultural centers on each of the two race's home planets. The cultural centers will be primarily devoted to exploration of similarities between the two cultures and will include expositions on the theoretical genetic links between Alpha Centaurans and Betazoids. Three suspected members of the Orion Syndicate were indicted today at a Federation Council hearing. Although the Orion Syndicate has been careful in the past to remain outside of Federation jurisdiction, the recent acceptance of Vermanda III into the UFP has expanded StarFleet presence into a previously unmoderated area, heavily used by Syndicate trafficking. StarFleet expects no retaliation, but also no more arrests, as the Syndicate has most likely changed their operations routes. ********************************************************** Contact: Don Ratliff, Fleet GM ratliff [at_symbol]tsixroads.com or fleetgm [at_symbol]yahoogroups.com **********************************************************
