O'Connor ********************************************************* Fleet Executive Officer ~ Admiral Anna Karsten ********************************************************* *************************** Antelope Squadron Commander *************************** (currently vacant) *************************** *********** USS ARTEMIS *********** NO REPORT SUBMITTED/CURRENTLY DRY-DOCKED *************************** USS HAMILTON CO: Commander Judah Gibbons GM: Janet Gist *************************** For their dinner at CNS Logaan Woods' quarters, the McCarter twins decide to take a bottle of asprin and an apple pie. Mercedes McCarter begins speaking about her mother when Logaan's accent reminds her of the twins' mother. Back on OMEGA, CSO Mercedes McCarter finds a piece of her past that she would have prefered never to see again in the person of a gray-skinned and -eyed humanoid named Jelek who proceeds to use every scrap of leverage he believes he has to get her to rejoin the group of killers he leads. Even threatening those she loves doesn't drag her back into the old, dark ways, though, and Jelek stabs her in the side, leaving her with an extremely painful but non-fatal wound that she can remember him by until next time. Mercedes isn't the only one attacked or stalked that day. Lt Paul Alday, one of CEO Chandler T'krn's engineers, is severely beaten by the irrational assistant CSO, Lt Pike. Alday's concussion and broken ribs are nothing, though, compared to what Chandler's shadows want to do to her. They have killing for revenge on their minds. While thugs are doing what harm they can to these two HAMILTON officers, four new members of the H-team are transfered aboard. The new FCO Ensign Tom Slater is called to report in to CO Judah Gibbons and swiftly assigned the task of plotting a course to Teel 3 for Gibbons' approval by the next morning. As FO, Lt Miranda Sands comes aboard with her boyfriend and HAMILTON's new CSciO, Ensign Jur Lehron. The new CEO, CWO3 William Johnson, also makes his way aboard and finding his office using a corner of the large room as a quiet thinking space so long as she is willing to step out if he needs to speak to someone privately. Beside approving Slater's proposed transit path, Gibbons also has to approve Chandler's switch from CEO to assistant CSO, which he does, and hand out promotions and an award at the HAMILTON officers' meeting. For their hard work, Chandler T'krn is promoted to Lt and both Mercedes McCarter and Zachary Bentley are promoted to full Lt. Zachary Bentley is also given the Riker Award for Helmsmanship. ********* USS SAGAN ********* NO REPORT SUBMITTED/CURRENTLY DRY-DOCKED **************************** Beaver Squadron Commander **************************** Branch Admiral Cathal Aguiar **************************** ****************** USS HORIZON CO: Captain Tergin GM: Ruud Visser ****************** CO Tergin notices OPS Blaze Starsinger seems unhappy and offers some comforting advice. The captain proceeds to sickbay to talk to the Hudson's CO, Captain Diak. In the meantime, FO Leyson Ayden hands out orders to most of the senior staff to find out what happened to the Hudson. CMO Patton checks on CEO Dariale, but is unable to find the reason for her collapsing. On his way with her to sickbay, the Trasien intruder incapacitates Patton and takes on his form. The impostor goes to sickbay to take out Diak, only to find Tergin and Dr. T'Salek there, forcing him to postpone his plans. ****************** USS ATHENE ****************** NO REPORT SUBMITTED/CURRENTLY DRY-DOCKED ******************************** USS HERMES CO: Commander Michael J. Halifax GM: Scott Bassitt ******************************** No Report Submitted ************************** Condor Squadron Commander ************************** Branch Admiral Aleksi Kara ************************** ***************** DS101 CO: Captain Alyza GM: Don Ratliff ***************** Dr. Poynton and Ensign Foley discover a shared interest in WWF Wrestling as practiced on Twentieth Century Earth. They arrange a Holodeck match against each other. First Officer Fischer comes down with flu-like symptoms, probably from the contaminated food served at the party. Dr. Poynton investigates further and finds the food contaminated, or perhaps intentionally infected, with the Achilles virus; a very deadly organism capable of wiping out entire populations. Fortunately, scans reveal the virus to be in a dormant state. A Ferengi merchant, Lix, makes contact with the Yawetag ship and offers his wares for trade. Inspection reveals that some of his wares are also contaminated with the Achilles virus. Lix is convinced that the infection resulted from the Snail Juice, which he had purchased on DS 101. ************************** USS JOHN GLENN CO: Captain Richard Murphy GM: Adam West ************************** No Report Submitted ********************************** USS NIGHTINGALE CO: Lieutenant-Commander Pol Canon GM: Mistie Smith (SitRep by Scott Bradley) ********************************** No Report Submitted ***************************************************************** Cocoon Fleet Situation Intelligence Report (by Cmdr Seth Forster) ***************************************************************** UPDATED SD 13.0615 Na'stiu and Juun relations continue to be tense without progress from assigned diplomatic teams. Alac Nond) ***************************************************** OP 108 activity has begun increasing with the completion of the orbital docking platform. Construction has begun on several new ships at the newly contstructed shipyards there. In addition, the Andromeda wormhole has shown no signs of unusual behavior in recent months, causing a return of commerce to the area. Peaceful cooperation with races in the Amgine Sector continue to increase in the aftermath of the Noo'Ach Peace and Trade Conference. Terrorist attacks continue to plague Starfleet ships in the Andromeda Galaxy. Purist terrorist cells, devoted to ridding Andromeda of all Federation presence, have jeopardized the entrance of Trasior into the Federation. Negotiators on Trasior report that the Trasien council is considering withdrawing their application for membership, while various attacks and disappearances are being investigated both by Trasien Security and by Starfleet. ***************************************** Beyond the Portal (by LtCmdr. Eli Meyman) ***************************************** Recent troop movements along Cardassia's border with Breen space has sparked some interest in the Union's possible plans. With relations still cold from the war, no official inquiries have been made, and no investigation is planned. Betazoid Council chairman Beyard Mali and Alpha Centauran Council chairwoman Vhesha P'Nehbuddar have announced plans to begin a massive cultural exchange between their two peoples, including cultural centers on each of the two race's home planets. The cultural centers will be primarily devoted to exploration of similarities between the two cultures and will include expositions on the theoretical genetic links between Alpha Centaurans and Betazoids. Three suspected members of the Orion Syndicate were indicted today at a Federation Council hearing. Although the Orion Syndicate has been careful in the past to remain outside of Federation jurisdiction, the recent acceptance of Vermanda III into the UFP has expanded StarFleet presence into a previously unmoderated area, heavily used by Syndicate trafficking. StarFleet expects no retaliation, but also no more arrests, as the Syndicate has most likely changed their operations routes. **********************************************************
