CEO Chandler T'krn is chased from a coffee store on OMEGA clear back to the ship by some hoodlums her "father" sent to show his displeasure at her use of family funds to bail some friends out of trouble. The thugs manage to inflict a minor disruptor burn on the fleeing engineer and she also dislocates her shoulder in a fall during the pursuit. The heavies then become the pursued when OPS Zachary Bentley, having literally bumped into one of her attackers and recognized him, finally catches up to them and knocks one unconscious. The scarred one he recognized fires at the HAMILTON officer, retreating, then fires again before disappearing around the corner of a corridor. Bentley is returning to check on the one he caught when station security finally appears on the scene. With an unconscious man at his feet, a disruptor in his hand, and the reek of whiskey on his breath, they understanably draw the wrong conclusion and take him into custody. CSO Mercedes McCarter is called to escourt him to the ship when his story checks out. ********* USS SAGAN ********* NO REPORT SUBMITTED/CURRENTLY DRY-DOCKED ************************* Beaver Squadron Commander ************************* ~ Vacant ~ ************************* *************** USS HORIZON Captain Tergin GM: Ruud Visser *************** (The Horizon is currently investigating a dark matter nebula in the Katarian sector.) Despite earlier reservations, the Horizon heads towards the centre of the anomaly. The closer they get to it, the greater the pains Captain Tergin has to endure. FCO Malaar's foster father, Ekul, has been posessed by the anomaly. CMO Patton is able to block out the anomaly, simultaneously finding something that might protect the entire ship. Meanwhile, the Horizon has yet another problem: the energy beams the Dakota is using to free them are damaging the ship. As they arrive at the centre, Tergin hails the Dakota (though they don't know it's them) and collapses after requesting a cease-fire. **************** USS ATHENE Commander Krwn GM Kathy Ruether **************** XO, Lt. Miranda Sands calls for a staff meeting with Krwn being the only missing senior officer. They will be arriving on Talos IV in 3 days. If no lifeforms are detected, those on the away mission will beam in the middle of the desert and searching will begin. CMO, Dr. Abstentrion Morit brings up that whether from the violent images or pheromones of aggression from them will disrupt the Talosians illusions. He and Nurse Gentry are in the possess of making a way to mimic this. Ensign Ian Hollander starts to disrupt the doctor's presentation and a fight between the two erupts with a little name calling. Miranda does end up breaking up the fight and a message from Ab to Ian shows that it was all just an act. After tests have been done the night before, the process of CO, Commander Krwn being returned to his old body is started. The procedure is to take five hours. CNS, Ensign Jur Lehron does a few word associations with Krwn and then his famous ink blot tests. Krwn tells Jur describes everything about the ink blot from the type of paper, ink, how old it is, where it was made, but Jur has to work with him to get Krwn to say what it reminds him of. Finally, Krwn tells the counselor that it has a simulairity to 'The Kraken' by Shimado Xi. A few ink blots later, one of them reminds Krwn of Jur and Miranda an intimate encounter. ******************* USS HERMES Captain India Baker GM Scott Bradley ******************* NO REPORT SUBMITTED ************************* Condor Squadron Commander ************************* ~ Vacant ~ ************************* ************** DS 101 Captain Alyza GM Don Ratliff ************** On the Gortu Home World: Cady is interviewed by the local 'press' and manages to do quiet well during the experience. Lieutenant Tel'Drak is sent down planetside shortly afterward to advise on First Contact procedures. As Cady, Villeray, and Tel'Drak distribute supplies they are attacked by three Gortu. Cady and Tel'Drak stun one attacker each. Cady and Villeray manage to wrestle the third into submission. Apparently the attack was an isolated incident with no know links to any organized anti-alien group. Captain Alyza has taken the ATLANTIS to the oceans of the Gortu world to attempt to stabilize the fault zones. During the trip the ATLANTIS is attacked by three vessels, presumably Gortu, who attempt to stop the ATLANTIS. Some smart improvising by the crew is successful in stopping the attack. However, the three vessels self-destruct. Dr. Villeray arranges a meeting with Minister Edipar to obtain information of Gortu biology. Meanwhile, back at DS-101: Lt. Mike, from the LEGACY, meets with Admiral Moriasas, from Star Fleet, and Captain Questivo, from Starfleet Intelligence. Admiral Moriasas was a member of Commander Roberts original Starfleet debriefing team from years before. Starfleet lacks the ability to close the vortex opened by the LEGACY. There is great concern should the Xu'sorfians discover the LEGACY's whereabouts. As far as the neural program in Commander Roberts, which is the key to the weapon Roberts used against the Xu'sorfians, there is much disagreement as to what to do about it...and about Roberts. ************ USS COCHRANE ************ NO REPORT SUBMITTED/CURRENTLY DRYDOCKED **************** USS NIGHTINGALE LtCmdr Pol Canon GM Mistie Smith **************** NO REPORT SUBMITTED ********************************************************************* Cocoon Fleet Situation Intelligence Report (by Adm. Elisabeth Davies) ********************************************************************* UPDATED SD 13.0120 The Federation/Na'Chem Ceasefire is still in effect. Although, the Na'Stiu faction continues with efforts to upset the Ceasefire. StarFleet vessels have been dispatched to attempt to negotiate with the Na'Stiu and provide peacekeeping defense. The USS SELEYA is currently pursuing negotiation efforts while the XERXES and ZEUS have been patrolling areas of intense Na'Stiu activity. Diplomatic relations with the Juun are still considered to be in 'a tense period' and talks have been initiated to resolve the situation. Captain Mara Nemec, Juun StarFleet officer, has been assigned to the Juun homeworld to attempt to repair the situation which has recently escalated after riots in the Vu'rain province and the trial of several doctors believed to be responsible for the Genetic Experimentation scandals. This news comes only 10 months since a team led by Captain Alyza of DS 101 uncovered evidence that the Juun Union was indeed developing a weapon of mass destruction. The lives of many Seekers were lost during the investigation which ended on SD 12.0501. The recent temporal anomalies prevalent in the Cocoon seem to have waned, although official reports are still unavailable at this time. Recent departure of Admiral Fergal McKewan has caused restructuring in the Cocoon Fleet Command. McKewan has been replaced on interim basis by field-promoted Fleet Admiral Fuschia Tino. Captain Elisabeth Davies, recently made Head of Cocoon Fleet Intelligence has been given a field promotion to Admiral and named as interim Fleet Executive Officer. All Squadron Commander positions are currently unfilled and the interim brass is in process of searching for successors. Captain Ardeous Brockman will be in command of the continuing clean-up of SFIntel in the Cocoon and Commander Foster Ryan has been assigned as new Chief Training Officer for the Fleet. *************************************** Amgine Sector Report (by Lt. Alac Nond) *************************************** DEEP SPACE 101 has seen much activity as its engineering capability's are undergoing a major upgrading. Also facilities for accommodating its new role as a secondary command centre in the event of catastrophe befalling SB OMEGA are in the process of being added. Work progresses slowly but the facilities are nearly completed. OP108 has completed installation of its orbital docking platform and commercial and Fleet activity continues to grow in the area. Recent disappearance of the ships in the area has prompted Fleet Command to send the USS COCHRANE, now cleared of framed treason charges, to investigate the space around OP 108 and the Andromeda wormhole. The Noo'ach Peace and Trade Conference was extremely successful, resulting in many new trade and diplomatic relations being established with several new races. Although a mobile anomaly appeared in the area, nearly causing the destruction of the USS HORIZON, USS HIKARU and a Hetgarot vessel, the conference was spared any turmoil. The Hetgarot concerns about the recent elevated activity near OP 108 has been eased due to the success of the conference. ***************************************** Beyond the Portal (by LtCmdr. Eli Meyman) ***************************************** Relations with the Klingon Empire have improved steadily since the completion of the New Khitomer Concorde. The Cardassian Union continues to make no official comment on the situation, but intelligence shows military activity at a minimum within the Union. Fleet yards across the Federation have been putting in extra efforts and brought the capacity of Starfleet's Fleet's back up to what they were. The ship yards are now slowing their production of starships and focusing on developing new designs that require less personnel, as what Starfleet lacks now is the personnel to staff the ships. All Starfleet Fleets have regained their strengths. The new Tecumseh-class battle cruiser, the first ship to be produced exclusively in the Cocoon has been retitled the USS ATHENE, in honor of the previously destroyed ATHENE. Although the ATHENE's current mission is TOP SECRET, Command has confirmed that the majority of the mission will take place outside of the Cocoon. All eyes in the Federation are awaiting results of the Tecumseh-class' maiden voyage, as production may begin at non-Cocoon shipyards. Recent activity on the Tholian border has resulted in increased monitoring. No military threat is perceived at this time. ********************************************************
