This leaves Admiral Spires the task of finding a new Antelope SC. OUTPOST 108 The new CO, Captain Bradley Walsh, arrives at OP 108 and prepares to meet the crew. Just back from a stressful mission, various members of the crew find ways to relieve their stress. Lt. J'eran manages to find comfort in a gymnastics routine in the holodeck, breaking her wrist in the process. Lt. Tim Anderson gets transferred to OPS at DS 101. . USS ARTEMIS While on the bridge, Paul receives a priority communication from Starfleet dealing with sensitive information about the disappearance of the USS Curie in this area of space. Rather than take it in his readyroom or on his personal station. The CO puts it on screen. Stark remarks that the information is iinconsequential to the misson at hand unless the Paul belives in cursed ships and the like. Jessie seeing the information remarks on the curious situation of the NEWTON, it's transwarp technology and the apparent disappearence of the crew. As if on cue the Kol'tha respond by saying the awayteam as well as the Artemis and her crew are know "wards" of the aliens. As they finish the engineering and sensor systems go offline. Back on the Newton, Sovar stops short of plunging through the wall. Stepping back, the CSO takes out his tricorder and scans the semi-solid liquid wall before him. Confirming it's state, Sovar dons the respirator on his suite and plunges into the wall. The suits onboard sensors determine that the liquid barrier is desinged to strip an gaseous component from the victims bloodstream. fortunately the Hirogen's armor lives upto it's reputation and protects Sovar form it's potentially deadly effects. Emerging from the other side, the CSO begins to explore hisnew suroundings. Moving forward he comes before a dead end. Just as he did moments ago the CSO plunges through the semi-solid wall again only to enter a cell with a lone Kol'tha. The CSO's first reaction is to eleminate the lone Kol'tha as a threat, but fortunately for the Kol'tha, Sovar is able to stay his trigger long enough to hear him out. The Kol'tha then relates the events that occured up until know and the probable fate of the away team if the Kol'tha suceed. Meanwhile back on the Artemis, a pulse of energy is sent traveling through the shipwhich disables the crew for a period of ten minutes. In that time the sentient computer determines that the ship's crew is being abducted at a rate of 10 people per abduction, Springing into action, the computer releases a pungent mixture into the ships lifesupport system and successfully revives the crew, but not before 30 crewmen have disappeared. A few moments later the CO is abducted where he meets up with a strange and befuddled alien. managing to make some sort of contact he is whisked back to the Artemis. Only to found to have lost over 30% of his bodily fluids. Back again on the Artemis, the CMO arrives on the bridge to administer a saline solution hypo to counteract the effects of the alien bombardment. Jessie notices the disappearence of the captain. while the computer informs the crew that remodulation of the shields would be a prudent action. Springs from the science console does just that and when the Kol'tha begin there nuetrilizing attack again it's effects are disappated by the remodulated shields The Kol'tha again send a communication to the Artemis. Instead of saying that the crew and ship are their wards the Kol'tha ask the crew of the Artemis to politely quyite scanning there vessel. As for the Artemis's scans, they reveal that damaging the alien vessel being towed by the Newton could potentially prove disasterous as the contents of the alien hull apparently have enough material to ignite a star. Further scans reveal that due to the state of flux with in the Kol'tha vessel it is impossible to get a fix on the ship's crew there. After administering aid to the bridge crew, Aghah scans the captian who has been descovered back on the bridge. determining his situation critical enough that he need to be taken to sickbay. Back on the Kol'tha vessel Foster tries to make sense of his situation and contact sovar, as he does so a small alien appears and asks him to follow. Doing so the XO is reunited with Sovar and the missing crew of the Newton. Back on the Artemis, Kate realizes that maybe the Artemis shouldn't be looking for solid matter on the alien vessel but given it's compostion they should be scanning for liquids, and dihydrogen oxide in paticular. Meanwhile Foster, Sovar, and the Newton's CSO formulate a plan of escape and recature and implement it. Jessie and Kate decide to narrow down the search from water to it seperate elements of hydrogen and oxyegen, plus broaden the scans to include carbon. The alteration prove a sucess as they scan the Kol'tha vessel and the Newton. On the Kol'tha vessel it is realized that a change in plan is needed as they now must beam the Newton'a crew over to the Artemis and the away team must take the occupied bridge of the Newton. All the while convincing the Artemis to lower her shields long enough to beam the prisoners out. Ryan convincing the Artemis to lower it's shields allows the successful beam over of most of the prisoners. While the away team is beamed to the bridge. While there, Sovar fires on an alien and Foster learns why his hand had been itching earlier. Back on the Artemis, the CO wakes from a cryptic dream and realizes he is in sickbay. In typical starfleet captain's manner, the CO goes against the CMO's advice and returns to the bridge and opens up a communication with the Kol'tha vessel. Where he offers a deal. Return the prisoners and away team and he won't fire on them. To the crews suprise though. An answer comes not form the Kol'tha, but the vessels power core itself. Over on the Newton, Sovar produces a novel cure to Ryan's delimma by altering the Kol'tha leaders state of mind, sorta :) With the leader removed, chaos breaks out as the Kol'tha try to determine who is next in succesion for leadership. On the Artemis, it is found out that the Kol'tha where trying to get thier inverse signularity power core back online, but the away team intrying to escape had accidently released an enemy agen who had sabotaged the Kol'tha ship years earlier. The Artemis crew also finds out that with the failure of the core, the resulting chain reaction will envelope and cause the destruction of the entire Cocoon region of space. As for Ryan and Sovar, they discover there alien benefactor is really a spy and saboture from a race known as the Siviians. Who it turns out wants to wipe the Kol'tha from existance and doesn't care who he takes with them and in typical bad guy fashion conveinently beams away. In light of the recent revelation, Atha springs into action and prepares to beam over to the Kol'tha vessel in an attempt to prevent the alien core from collapsing and triggering the doomsday cascade effect the core will have. USS SAGAN Currently Drydocked. Beaver Squadron: Commodore Antonio Vasquez USS HORIZON The dig site is briefly overrun with terrorists, and subsequently placed under HORIZON rule, though not before more than a few people die. Peaceful investigations take place on the surface of Connard 4, in the cities, while aboard the HORIZON herself, information is uncovered dealing with the suspicious transmissions coming from the counselor's office USS ATHENE. The At'Karie speak with the ATHENE, and come aboard, hoping to rectify the important 'Pisarev-Monster is killing everyone' problem. Already on the casualty list is Morley Shudd, the once President, and Taran Hote's father. It is uncovered that the virus responsible for much of the recent carnage was deliberately created by the At'Karie government. USS HERMES No Report submitted SB OMEGA No report submitted. Condor Squadron: Commodore Tara Cadoriet USS COCHRANE See DS101 DS 101 Alyza and Roberts are still on the Station trying to get to the bottom of the incident on the HIKARU they had. Alyza question Gallic as he is held in the brig. Trax materialises in the area in his android form, unarmed and not to cause and harm. They are told by Gallic that he is over 800 yrs old and is tracking time travelling people, that laid siege to their civilization. Q ponders over handing his resignation from Starfleet into the Vulcan/Bajoran captain. He does so and begins his new future by setting up shop in the mall on DS101. Three new staff arrive on the station, Ens. Taisha Maral - CNS, Lt(jg) Tim Anderson - OPS, and Ens Vodan Zhamiel - CEO. They all met with their new skipper. Meanwhile, Kelsi is recovering from her serious head injury, as Josh stays with her to say he is sorry. Cpt. Banks wants the shuttlecraft that Hogan and Bataya brought on board, so Ryan has to modify the tractor and bring it on board. He Kelsi, who says she is alright, after coming around, and Sinjin head to the shuttle bay to go over th federation vessel for traces of the three officer that were on board. Hogan and Bataya had escaped on a 50yr old Vulcan Shuttle, and headed to the COCHRANE from the alien base. They are picked up by the Pioneer class vessel and are ready to be sent back to DS101, when Banks wants to change her mind and give chase to the mysterious Nash, who stole a shuttle Perry thought this whole thing stunk of SFsec. :-) They'd received a call from DS101 to say that they'd been attacked by an unknown alien race. He was concerned that he hadn't been told the correct information. Banks was ignoring the call for help and continued to chase for Nash. Sinjin, did not like the idea of leaving the station alone and headed into the ready room to question the skippers orders, and got himself on report, but would still not move and ended up being escorted to the brig by Darr'Chuh's security team. USS CURIE No Report Submitted. Cocoon Fleet Situation Intelligence Report: by Cmdr. Ilu A ceasefire exists between the Federation and the Na'Chem. The Juun have made no official comment. Several oficials sacked from the Juun government following the exposure of genocide committed against the Na'Chem by the Juun have attempted to lure the Federation into a war with the Na'Chem. Starfleet is investigating these allegations of Genocide against the Na'Chem heavily which may threaten the Juun's position in the Federation. Starfleet Intelligence Officers are on the scene and investigating the reports of Romulan influence in the matter. A small number of Na'Chem factions are refusing to acknowledge the ceasefire. Calling themselves the Na'stiu, they continue raids against the Juun. An area of space being dubbed the 'Bermuda Triangle' has left Several Starfleet vessels missing. A ship has been sent to investigate. Amgine Sector Report: by Lt. Serin Erl Deep Space 101 has returned to it's previous location. The exact circumstances of it's disappearance have been divulged to Cocoon Fleet Headquarters. On the outer sector of Outpost 108's scanners a brand new, what seems to be wormhole has been discovered. From initial reports the wormhole leads to the Andromeda Galaxy, the closest galaxy to our own. The USS CURIE has returned from the far end of the Cocoon. A new HAWKING class ship has arrived to replace the aging FEYNMAN. Beyond the Portal: by Lt. Michael Walters The Klingon Empire has established a Ceasefire with the Federation following the exposure of a conspiracy between the Klingon Houses in the former Occupied zone and the Cardassian Union. Peace Negotiations are proceeding slowly on Khitomer, several of the Federation's top ambassadors have been sent and recent reports say that the Negotiations are nearing an end. Fleet yards across the Federation are putting in extra effort to bring the fleets numbers back up to what they were before the war. What Starfleet lacks now is the personnel to staff those ships. Federation fleets are regrouping and rebuilding following the recent war. The eighth fleet, sixth and third fleets are the only fleets so far to regain their numbers to what they were before the war. The wormhole at DS 12 has finally sufficiently stabilized for traffic to resume to the Gamma Quadrant. Respectfully Submitted, Sean McDonagh Fleet GM for Holoworld
