COCOON FLEET SITUATION REPORT SD: 11.0817 ******* Antelope Squadron: Commodore Tara Cadoriet --- *** USS ATHENE No report submitted. ****** Beaver Squadron: Commodore J.M.Power --- *** USS HORIZON The HORIZON prepares itself for the visit of another Admiral. This time around, Fleet Commander Spires. The HORIZON has 'surprise' guests, as Lt. Bordak's family comes aboard, for his sister, Brenala's metamorphosis. To aside the joy of being reunited with his family, Bordak learns of the death of his grand father, Dakmid. Bordak tries to cope, as Amy, one of his close friends, tries to help him. Working through troubles of his own, and still distraught at his method of disposing of the changeling, Ens. Arkanis examines both his own past, and the past of his people, searching for answers. It is the gentile assurance of the captain, and the story of Laseknal and Ferr'nok, that finally allow the giant CSO to move forwards. When the Fleet Admiral finally boards the ship, he brings only good news with him. The USS HORIZON is awarded the Outstanding Unit Citation. Also, Lt. Cmdr. Tergin is promoted to Captain, and control of the USS HORIZON is handed over to him. Permanently. This is not the end of the awards, however. When the Admiral has left the ship, Tergin calls Lt. Pol Canon to his office. The Counselor is promoted, and leaves as a full Lieutenant. Finally, Tergin takes some time out to explore the ship with new eyes. Now with the eyes of a full captain. *** USS KATANA As the Inquiry proceeds, CNS Chaela Kqrin proposes that the surveillance clip be entered as what truly happened and the remainder of the proceedings be conducted with only the three captains, Dr. Bra'an, and herself made privy to them. She suggests that this method of completing the investigation would be the most beneficial to all concerned. Treyena Bra'an, who had been trying to ignore the process so as to avoid another eruption of defensive anger, is startled out of her reverie by this act from someone she thought was going to help her. What Chaela has proposed sounds entirely too much like the parading of her memories and emotions before disapproving, ignorant, sheltered... people that she had been dreading all along. *** USS ARTEMIS No report submitted. ****** Condor Squadron: Commodore Wynton Spires --- OUTPOST 108 No report submitted. *** USS COCHRANE No report submitted. *** DS 101 The MANTA RAY survives the Akira ship firing the metagenic weapon and disables the weapons system with return fire. Could this be the beginning of the end for the traitors? Back on DS101, Kalayah receives a mixed reception from Kalen but points out that there is little he can do about it so he best get used to the situation. *** USS CURIE Mr. Leeds reports the the Situation on the Dergrad ship is getting continually worse and that the Ambassadors team is attempting to mediate between the two factions on the ship. Mr. Leeds suggests that transporter locks be maintained on the crew and the Ambassadors team in case the mediations fall through. Meanwhile, Lt. Mike has a very interesting conversation with Lital of the Dergrad as The Captain attempts to get a tractorbeam on one of the Dergrad ships that is drifting towards the planet with minimal lifesupport working on it. ******* Viper Squadron: Commodore Davis Dal Starian --- USS DURHAM No report submitted. *** USS IBUTHO No report submitted. *** USS KRIEGER No report submitted. *** USS ZAHAL No report submitted. ****** Cocoon Fleet Situation Intelligence Report: by Cmdr. Ilu A ceasefire exists between the Federation and the Na'Chem. The Juun have made no official comment. Several Officials sacked from the Juun government following the exposure of genocide committed against the Na'Chem by the Juun have attempted to lure the Federation into a war with the Na'Chem. Starfleet is investigating these allegations of Genocide against the Na'Chem heavily which may threaten the Juun's position in the Federation. Starfleet Intelligence Officers are on the scene and investigating the reports of Romulan influence in the matter. A small number of Na'Chem factions are refusing to acknowledge the ceasefire. Calling themselves the Na'stiu, they continue raids against the Juun. An area of space being dubbed the ‘Bermuda Triangle' has left Several Starfleet vessels missing. A ship has been sent to investigate. Amgine Sector Report: by Lt. Serin Erl Deep Space 101 has returned to it's previous location. The exact circumstances of it's disappearance have been divulged to Cocoon Fleet Headquarters. Outpost 108's construction proceeds on schedule, it's support vessel however has left on a joint mission with the Klingon vessel "Kahless' Blood". The USS CURIE has returned from the far end of the Cocoon. A new HAWKING class ship has arrived to replace the aging FEYNMAN. Beyond the Portal: by Lt. Michael Walters The Klingon Empire has established a Ceasefire with the Federation following the exposure of a conspiracy between the Klingon Houses in the former Occupied zone and the Cardassian Union. Peace Negotiations are proceeding slowly on Khitomer, several of the Federation's top ambassadors have been sent and recent reports say that the Negotiations are nearing an end. Fleet yards across the Federation are putting in extra effort to bring the fleets numbers back up to what they were before the war. What Starfleet lacks now is the personnel to staff those ships. Federation fleets are regrouping and rebuilding following the recent war. The eighth fleet, sixth and third fleets are the only fleets so far to regain their numbers to what they were before the war. The wormhole at DS 12 has finally sufficiently stabilized for traffic to resume to the Gamma Quadrant. Respectfully Submitted, Tom Doyle, Fleet GM for Holoworld
