COCOON FLEET SITUATION REPORT SD: 11.0810 ******* Antelope Squadron: Commodore Tara Cadoriet --- *** USS ATHENE No report submitted. ****** Beaver Squadron: Commodore J.M.Power --- *** USS HORIZON The USS FENIAN, previously in communication with the HORIZON, is boarded by Dominion Agents. The raiders are taken care of, not without some casualties. The attacking freighter bears down on the USS HORIZON, initiating a suicide run in the light of it's situation. The collision is deterred by a combined effort, from both the HORIZON's, and FENIAN's tractor beams. After the delay, Lt. Cmdr. Tergin orders the Tachyon burst. A new ship is discovered, incidently housing the HORIZON's long time foe, P'Ghal. The Romulan traitor destroys his own ship, but not before escaping, via a long range transport. The HORIZON loosens it's guard. As the mission finally slows to a halt, life continues to move on. With a sense of pride for his crew, Lt. Cmdr. Tergin settles down for the inevitable paperwork that accompanies such victories, no matter what form they take. *** USS KATANA Lt Charles London is called as the second witness in the Inquiry into the actions of Treyena Bra'an, CMO of the KATANA. Captain Marshal, a member of the panel and the acting Prosecutor, questions the young FCO in a rather harsh manner. Marshal begins innocuously, shortly works in questions on the beginning of the mission, then queries the sweating young officer about what he saw when he entered the cafeteria on Mossara's base. The thoroughly intimidated London relents under Marshal's continuous pressure and admits that he saw Dr. Bra'an standing over an unconscious member of Mossara's slaver band with the man's severed genitalia in her hand. Chaela Kqrin, for the defense, attempts to calm her shipmate. To help build her case for Trey, she asks the upset young officer if he was "...scared of her after witnessing this...?" *** USS ARTEMIS An away team is sent to Surous Prime to discover why weapons were within the supplies. Shortly thereafter the away team is unreachable. The crew of the ARTEMIS works at re-establishing contact. Lt.Cmdr. Springs requests and is granted permission to go to the surface to find out what happedned to the away team. Sensors finally penetrate the cloaking feild of the Surousian ship and facility on the planet. The away team is found on the Surousian ship that was under attack, and are beemed back to the ship. The situation of Beta Colony is still unknown in the confusion of who did what. With another starship enroute to discover what exactly what was happening the ARTEMIS continues on to its primary mission. ****** Condor Squadron: Commodore Wynton Spires --- OUTPOST 108 No report submitted. *** USS COCHRANE No report submitted. *** DS 101 No report submitted. *** USS CURIE The away team, Led by Lt. Cmdr. Leeds, beams aboard the Dergrad ship and secures it for the arrival of Ambassador Grayson. Lt. jg Mike has a less than friendly conversation as he checks out the engineering section of this ship. The Ambassador arrives to find his reputation has preceded him, and the two warring factions on the Dergrad ship agree to negotiations. Meanwhile, an enexplained computer problem arises on the Curie just as Leeds checks in. ******* Viper Squadron: Commodore Davis Dal Starian --- USS DURHAM No report submitted. *** USS IBUTHO No report submitted. *** USS KRIEGER No report submitted. *** USS ZAHAL No report submitted. ****** Cocoon Fleet Situation Intelligence Report: by Cmdr. Ilu A ceasefire exists between the Federation and the Na'Chem. The Juun have made no official comment. Several Officials sacked from the Juun government following the exposure of genocide committed against the Na'Chem by the Juun have attempted to lure the Federation into a war with the Na'Chem. Starfleet is investigating these allegations of Genocide against the Na'Chem heavily which may threaten the Juun's position in the Federation. Starfleet Intelligence Officers are on the scene and investigating the reports of Romulan influence in the matter. A small number of Na'Chem factions are refusing to acknowledge the ceasefire. Calling themselves the Na'stiu, they continue raids against the Juun. An area of space being dubbed the ‘Bermuda Triangle' has left Several Starfleet vessels missing. A ship has been sent to investigate. Amgine Sector Report: by Lt. Serin Erl Deep Space 101 has returned to it's previous location. The exact circumstances of it's disappearance have been divulged to Cocoon Fleet Headquarters. Outpost 108's construction proceeds on schedule, it's support vessel however has left on a joint mission with the Klingon vessel "Kahless' Blood". The USS CURIE has returned from the far end of the Cocoon. A new HAWKING class ship has arrived to replace the aging FEYNMAN. Beyond the Portal: by Lt. Michael Walters The Klingon Empire has established a Ceasefire with the Federation following the exposure of a conspiracy between the Klingon Houses in the former Occupied zone and the Cardassian Union. Peace Negotiations are proceeding slowly on Khitomer, several of the Federation's top ambassadors have been sent and recent reports say that the Negotiations are nearing an end. Fleet yards across the Federation are putting in extra effort to bring the fleets numbers back up to what they were before the war. What Starfleet lacks now is the personnel to staff those ships. Federation fleets are regrouping and rebuilding following the recent war. The eighth fleet, sixth and third fleets are the only fleets so far to regain their numbers to what they were before the war. The wormhole at DS 12 has finally sufficiently stabilized for traffic to resume to the Gamma Quadrant. Respectfully Submitted, Tom Doyle, Fleet GM for Holoworld
